Unai Emery
Re: Unai Emery
Not sure who Leicester have this weekend but win and then beat us and we could be 9 points off 4th
The scary thing being just how many times have we played well in the league this season ?

Re: Unai Emery
Putting everything else aside, 1) things are going really poorly and 2) he isn’t realistically capable of turning them around.
Has to go. We shouldn’t become a club that sacks managers for fun, but equally that is absolutely zero excuse for sticking with a guy who is clearly wrong for the job. If we are actively looking then I wouldn’t be too bothered about him staying in post in the meantime, but surely anybody can see that this isn’t going to work.
Not Moutinho though for fucks sake - what are people thinking??

A big fat ZERO, but ask yourself this, when is the last time we played really well in the league....... maybe 2-0 against the Manc scum but i if i remember rightly it was an absolutely turgid game, so maybe the 5-1 against the mighty Bournemouth?

I'm not totally against the idea of getting Mourinho but I'd much rather we pulled all the stops to get somebody like Allegri or Ten Haag. If that means we have to wait till next season with Freddie being made care taker till then so be it.

Re: Unai Emery
It's going downhill fast for el bomhole..After the defeat at sheffield I had a feeling some more bad results would follow, just like in le fartpipes later years. If you include the fluke win against tube station team it's been L W D L D it's a shitshow and he has to go.
Re: Unai Emery
Emery is a dead man walking and I think defeat at leicester will seal his fate!
I don’t want Mourinho, at least not the mourinho of the last 4 or 5 years!
If however he can wind the click back? then it could be wirth a try?
I feel however it would be a disastrous appointment!

Why the fuck are the board waiting until the Leicester game to pull the trigger. Even in a fantasy world in which we pull off a result, it doesn't change that we are going nowhere under this clown. Rather spineless of the board to wait for us to be destroyed before they take action.
Re: Unai Emery
Totally expected though?, they did the same under Wenger.BFG4 wrote: ↑Sun Nov 03, 2019 9:49 amWhy the fuck are the board waiting until the Leicester game to pull the trigger. No ambition. I pity any poor fool who spends money on this stale corporate joke of a club.
Even when Emery finally f*cks off they'll get more time to 'get it right' from the fans, we have a very accepting fanbase and we get what we deserve I suppose.

Re: Unai Emery
Get Allegri before Utd swipe him up.
Re: Unai Emery
It's Unai's birthday today. Anyone think of a good present for our dear leader

you will be lucky. Emery won't be going anywhere soon.
haven't you still not woken up to the fact that there is no ambition at our club ?

Sheffield, Palace, Wolves and Leicester - so far 2 points out of 9 and quite likely to end on 2 points, maybe 3 if Leicester have an off day.
The December games starting with WHU on the 9/12 see us playing citeh, manure and the chavs with one or two tricky away games thrown in - mind you any game is tricky for us these days.
As much as the board want to avoid any decisions until the end of the season they may well find that we are well and truly fu.cked by the first week of the new year and the pressure is on.
