THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He loves to belittle everyone else's opinion doesn't he? Not worked in the game for 30 years, sits in the best seats of the stadium, etc etc.

Gunner Rob wrote:so to the latest Wenger press conference, otherwise known as feed the media with a ton of shit.

He has now watched the Swansea match again "the second goal was offside, first was blatant foul on Ozil"
So he remains in total denial...

He has also had a go at Thierry Henry
Henry apparently claimed that he had never seen the fans so angry after the Swansea defeat.
"Thierry Henry has his opinions,” said Wenger. “He has not found the measurement of the fans’ angriness, of 60,000 people straight away because he sits in the best seats of the stadium.”

The guy has just lost the plot and in my opinion is becoming an increasing embarrassment for the club.
WENGER OUT
That was a gentle reminder to Henry of whose hand it is that has fed him. I'm pretty sure you can hear and feel the tension more on the sidines than in the seclusion of the middle tier boxes. Wenger hasn't lost the plot but it seems he's lost the belief in players pulling out a decent result when they need it.

Wenger having the piss taken out of him all over twitter now.

I think he will come to regret disrespecting our greatest ever player.

Wow he's taking on Thierry now. Anyone ever seen The last King of Scotland? We have our very own here!

Slates the fans (not worked half a day in football)
Slates greatest ever striker ("he has his opinions")
Slates the club history ("the club was nowhere in europe before I came here". Guess what we still are fuckwit )
Slates Merson (fair enough) slates Wrighty (unacceptable), disrespects Vieira in public.

Honest to God if that isn't a hubristic c**** of the highest order who basically thinks he's bigger than the club I don't know what is. People ask why there's no Arsenal football people involved in the club more and it's obvious. Sodding Disgrace - but certain "fans" have allowed this situation to develop. Unacceptable. Despicable.

"Henry has his opinions" Actually he doesn't, or if he does, regarding you, he keeps them to himself.

When fans are booing you and somebody like Henry points it out, brings it up, mentions it, THAT is NOT his OPINION, that is a stone cold FACT!! It's HAPPENING, and it's HAPPENING to YOU, it's nobody's OPINION, it's a FACT. Get your head out of your A$$!!

I won't be up in arms about TOF dissing Henry. Not after Henry has always had his tongue stuck so far up the darkest recess of TOF.

Read an article where Poch said he and his team sat down & analysed the WH loss. He said they know where they went wrong and they are not going to let it affect them in their title challenge. They know where THEY went wrong.

Wenger sat down, watched the match and....... blamed the ref.

Thats the basic problem, the guy is in denial, whether its not seeing the lack of character of his players or blaming refs for defeats
so how can he rectify the situation?

No one can deny in his early years it was something really special, as that mug Piers Morgan was saying we seem to have a Wenger Mark 2

Today he is saying we are doing 98% of things correct???? whatever that means, despite just 4 wins in last 11 games

I just want the *word censored* out now. I cannot bear to see him ruin our great club any more

All he is doing is running his legacy at this point....

Brilliant summation......basically sums up much of the core reason for our decline :(
