I posted about this on the Board thread.
Myles Palmer reckons Arshavin was signed by Gazidis.
It is an interesting theory, but just how would we sign a player if Wenger did not approve?
Happens at other clubs where the manager is more of a coach and the Director of Football plans transfers, but...
can that really happen at Arsenal under Wenger?
Do you really believe that Wenger helped appoint Gazidis who then went over his head to sign a player in the first month of his employment?

Henry is already training with us, now we will get Beckham too, so if none of the french flops would sign, I bet AW would make a last minute 6 months deal for them two
After all they are both free agent. At least they will show klingon how to kick a ball.

Iker Casillas' mouthy journalist girlfriend has been all over the Spanish press about how their dressing-room is divided and there will be an open war if he doesn't fuck off at the end of the season.

Don't think they're as concerned about Wenger as most on here are, I believe she was referring to Mourinho.

I would be worried about this. Remember shevchenko as well. The premiership is fast and furious (in the ready money round) and doesn't take any passengers. And coming off the back off some bad injuries u have to question whether he can make it and adapt.
Saying all that if the Wenker ain't goin for anyone else, I would like us to take a chance on him.
