Because the formula of signing french players has imploded in recent years as the frogs have reverted to type..........bottlers without backbone If you are looking to buy players to improve your team wouldnt it make sense to buy from a national side that are current world cup champions, current european champions and current european under 21 champions ?

I would suggest to you that, in some cases, players are looking to leave as a result of the total lack of ambition shown by our club. When you continually sell your best players and replace them with young unproven players then you are perceived as a selling club regardless of how many seasons in a row you make champions league. Selling players is a way of life in football but if you want to maintain the image of a big club then when you sell quality you have to replace with quality and we do not do that
FFS buy british (defenders) , they are hardly likely to want to fuck off home later are they ? u only have to look at bloody manure to see it works !!!
