SUMMER TRANSFERS - Your thoughts on who did and did not sign

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Flamoney showing what a dickhead he is again......

"The club did offer us a two-year extension."But, considering what he brought to the club, Mathieu wanted a longer deal. It seems being a greedy mercenary benchwarmer is worthy of a multi year deal in this dickhead's brain

Hmmm not necessarily. He might just want security.

I'm curious as to how he would do if we brought him back.

Exactly. I was just talking about this with a bloke in my office. The money SkyBet (for example) must make out of bullshit rumours that are whipped up by Sky Sports must be eye watering. They now start talking about betting being suspended etc like it means it's a done deal.

He walked away from two clubs on free transfers so would no doubt have received hefty signing on fee's so financial security shouldn't be an issue

As for finding out how he would do if we brought him back.....no thanks - he had his chance to be a proper football both for club and country but instead he chose to follow the $$$ and be a bench warmer in Milan so he can go and fcuk himself

If they can't afford the money it costs to sign a marquee player like Nicklas Bendtner then they should stop using his name merely to promote themselves and accept their lot, maybe they should sign Francis Jeffers instead, they could probably afford him, Bendtner won't accept playing for a pittance and rightly so.
And if you can't afford either you can just watch Bendtner and Clattermole smashing up your neighbour's cars which may cheer you up.

Regardless of whether or not you are indeed on your own we haven't had a DM as good as him since he left.

people called Flamster a DM - he was a ball winner but I wouldn't call him a proper DM
he didn't have the positional discipline to be the defensive midfielder of 3
I think he suited chasing the ball everywhere as one of 2
great partnership with Cesc

Have many agents does he have?
:rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin: Well, his father's got an agent and his father's agent has got an agent and his mother's got an agent who has got an agent....but he only has twelve agents one of whom is Wenger's missus....so it should be straight forward...

Oh please.. do me a favour.... wouldn't say no of course, but never happening.

Shame as well, since he'd have brought plenty of BITE to our attack.

I know a lot of people don't like Suarez... (as a person) BUT, as a player he's just what we need....also for tose who say we should never sign such a player how about we compare him to some of wenker's other Prime signings...and tell me who would you prefer

Suarez or Santos?

Suarez or Klingon?

Suarez or Giroud?

nuff sed.
