Fergie, despite winning four league titles, three league cups and the champions league in the last six years, bought in players over a month ago, they're prepped up, settled in, ready to go and all know their job.

Whereas we're a fucking mess. Our captain hasn't appeared all pre-season, one of the best players wants away, we can't get rid of the dross AND we have a cl qualifier coming up.

If you honestly believe 'people got irked at the result' over the weekend you really have no idea what's going on at our club.
It's hardly worth the bother, selsdon.

Meanwhile.......Luis Boa Morte has been released by West Ham today and is ready for "a new challenge".

Wait for it......

"Luis will with us for a few weeks and we will assess the situation. He is a winner, technically very strong and more mature now. We always look to add some experience...."

I can see it now - Nasri and Cesc out, Miyachi and Boa Morte the new signings.

Overall I believe this team has great potential

HELP ! HELP ! SOMEONE FUCKING SAVE ME FROM THE MOST DEPRESSING PRE-SEASON IN HISTORY :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

If the same thing had happened to us after losing 8-2 in a C.H.A.R.I.T.Y match then Arsene would get ridiculed for saying the exact thing as SAF.
No, he wouldn't.
Yes he would.

Add to that - less than 3 months ago United won their 19th title and were in a Champions League final - whereas we finished 4th in a two horse race after a relegation worthy run after xmas. As you said - United went straight out to buy players, whereas Wenger went away on holiday making every excuse under the sun not to fix the situation as he has done for years

maybe I didnt make my point clearly. I know people werent just irked at the result, and its the whole shambles we're in at our club.

What im trying to say is that this situation is a powder keg now, and it cant go on like this with people on his back after every little thing and silly quote he makes

we still just about have a decent squad ready to start the new season, and a Whole stadium booing at the result of a friendly game, dosent do anything to help the mindset of the lads in their preparations, and must be pretty unsettling.

I am seriously dreading to think whats gonna happen at Toon, Munich and the emirates for our first 3 games if we dont get the right result. It will be carnage and will totally derail the season even before its begun. Also you are just giving wenger another excuse to say something like "well the fans weren't behind us from day 1 so what chance did we have"

The situation has become untenible now in my eyes and I genuinely feel its gonna get really ugly very rapidly.

I also want the guy to step aside, down or upwards, fuck I dont care as long as he gets out of the helm, and lets someone else have a go. But whilst he's at the helm hes in charge and I just dont see what pathetic booing will achieve. especially at a seasons start. Just put your feelings for wenger aside for now, and just think what sort of season did Villa have last year when O'Neill walked a week before the seasons start.

If 10 matches into the new season our record reads W:3 D:4 L:3 then lets all get down the emirates with "wenger out" placards, but until then lets just see how they get on.

After six years of going backwards and constant failure to address glaring issues in the squad you still want to give Wenger more time? Seriously?

If we sign some new players like a cb, and strong additions such as Mata, and we don’t win the first few games I am sure no one will boo or give wenger abuse. I know I wont.

However if he doesn’t sign anyone by August 13th and we lose the first few games I will lead any chant that involves the abuse of wenger. Things need to get really ugly and bad for the future to get resolved.

He deserves any abuse he gets and I hope it gets really ugly for him. However this is based on him NOT signing anyone by August 13th

Maybe just maybe if the team crashes out the league by September after wenger not signing anyone the man will get sacked or better still quit

Can you also tell me why booing is pathetic ? Then suggest an alternative way to voice displeasure at a point in time when all of the directors will hear it at once ?

Try doing it without using the words "proper fan"

And by the way, the booing is meant to be "unsettling". That's the whole sodding point. I want Kroenke, Gazidis and Wenger to feel so unsettled it feels like they've got a worm farm expanding inside their collective areshole. If it unsettles the players so be it - strong characters rise above it. Rio Ferdinand got booed individually be the Mancs fans in 2005 when they thought he wouldn't resign his contract. He did OK afterwards.

And by the way, the booing was mild. I think in my block I was one of probably only a 100 or so that did it. Nothing compared to what the wonder fans of Liverpool, or the likes of Villa have done at their home games
