THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Ahhh, it must be approaching the window and the team are on a poor run as we get to hear those magic words about funds being made available in the transfer window. I expect to hear more of the same in April and May when ticket prices are on the rise and season tickets need renewing

How many fucking times have we heard Gazidis trip out this bullshit.

We will be weakening the squad in the window again by signing a bloke like Zaha that is 3-4 years behind Walcott who will be sold. The club of course will try to justify it as proof of our ambition.

I do not believe a single fucking word that comes out of our CEO's mouth - he's just a mouthpiece for our silent owner

Seems to be lots of noise out there that Steve Bould and Arsene aren't exactly exchanging Christmas cards

of AST tells us that Ivan Gazidis makes it clear to Arsenal fans that there are considerable funds available to Arsene Wenger...

That's a f***ing disaster!! It means that they are quite happy for Wenger to carry on and it means that Wenger will spunk more money on cheap French shite who have had one decent season in Ligue 1
I belive that Wenger is incapable of signing the players we need, he is not capable of seeing beyond average! :banghead: :banghead:
He must not be given one single penny. And yes it is also a very worrying sign that they are happy to stick with Wenger.

I don't get that guy's deal. Just looking on his Twatter and it's just full of jokes about Wengerisms like 'super quality' etc and then he tweets about what a great guy Gazidis is and how he was genuine tonight, came out with no spin and was full of apologies.

Just from a few of his tweets it seems all this talk of AST demanding change tonight etc appears to have been shelved by Gazidis pulling the wool over their eyes, again. Wenger is about the only manager who'll never praise the (away) fans, Ivan trots out the easiest line in the world about how great the fans were and Payton can't get rid of his erection. I bet Ivan goes home, puts down his briefcase and just pisses himself laughing at how easy it is to mug these people off.

Even if an apology was remotely satisfactory, it needed to be from the manager immediately after the game. Instead, he point-blank refused to acknowledge the fans and then gave everybody that travelled or watched the match a giant middle finger by telling us that we didn't lack effort or quality.

An apology.....? Do I read "offer of refund" or "free tickets to another away game later in the season", or maybe "we'll pay the £350 excess" on my fucking car insurance  !

Fans are turning on him. Media are starting to snipe at him. His coaches are not in full agreement with him and now his senior players are questioning him.......what more evidence does the c**t need to see that he is not managing our club properly ? I wish this arrogant, self serving egotistical w****r would just get the fcuk out of our club and piss off back to france

Btw my respect for AST is on a similar level to what I feel towards wenger - yet again they have shown that these little tea parties are more important to them than actually achieving anything substantial   Why go to these things and listen to smarmy pr bullsihit from that gazidas w****r ? Why not lay a marker down by refusing to attend and suggest that the club would be better off sorting out this malaise rather than these pr stunts ? Why not demand that wenger's performance and management be given a meticulous examination instead of playing footsie and side step the serious issues ? Gutless fcuks   :banghead:

Bet the *word censored* felt uncomfortable with all the praise Bouldy got at the start of the season. Dictator is the right word to describe him.
