As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
I love these stories about how Wally is wanted by the biggest clubs around and by the best managers. They're clearly planted in the press by his hard-working PR team. Is there a better PR team working for a worse footballer in the world today? Well done Wally. This player is symptomatic of Wenger's deluded faith in loyalty, youth and statistics over the evidence of his own eyes. He was lavishly rewarded for his potential, and now that that potential has not materialised into a player good enough for a club like Arsenal, we're backed into a corner with him. I dislike Walcott more than any player I've ever disliked who plays for us, but once again, THE BLAME LIES WITH WENGER

Do you think Walcott will refuse to sign for another club because he got his huge wage deal of 140k a month. To put it another way is he just after the money before a successful football career.
Before he signed his last deal I was actually in favour of the club keeping him. In that 2012/13 season I thought he was developing, becoming a better finisher and could have half a chance of making a decent central striker (albeit only ever in a 'two' and not as a lone striker)
Roll the clock forward 2-3 years and he's done an Adebayor - landed the big fat deal and become a 'one in ten' player who will switch it on from time to time but has regressed. His performances over the past 12 months have been awful, none more so than that debacle at Old Trafford where he was playing against Carrick and Blind and played like a pig in a bog.
10 years is way too long. Let him go and sign for the Shammers - he'll join the likes of Carroll who will never be a top player at a big club, but will turn it on every now and then
To say walnutt is Surplus To requirements is an understatement.....
He just never evolved into the player we all hoped and perhaps thought he could be....Part of that has to be down to Wenger...as it is no coincidence that very promising players that have arrived at Arsenal quickly become shyte...
Arshavin
Walcott
The Ox
Ramsey
Wenger is responsible for more fuck ups than can be counted....

He might not have been 2 - 3 years ago, but I think even he now knows he has missed the boat....out of the Arsenal regular line-up - Out of the England squad....all down hill from here on...so fuck-off wally you money grabbing whore

The stick he got from our fans at Old Trafford was as bad as I can remember for any of our players.
