Reading this quote on the BBC made me want to pull out my hair and cry

"Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has ruled out the prospect of securing David Villa before the transfer deadline because "Barcelona don't want to sell". "

Motherfucker we didn't want to sell our best players to them but we ended up doing so, so how about having the balls and doing something about it rather than sitting back and saying "oh they don't want to sell so that's that.

Because he doesnt want to buy and Barcawhores stance helps support his quest to win the Balance sheet cup again

Possibly, going after Cavani maybe? Completely untenable to have Tevez and Dzeko as 3rd and 4th choice though.

Be interesting to see why Mancini says he's sold one of the best strikers in the world (labelled him as such a few times along with Messi, Ronaldo, van Judas and Aguero) for 20m euros plus adds-ons?

How do you grow up with a name like that & fail to fulfil your parent's obvious wish for you to become a Dutch pornstar? :? He's let his whole family down.
Nigel Farage calls him Van Rompy Pompy!

I am not stressed at all.

Been clear for a while now that we lack ambition to go for the title, so why would we spend in this transfer window?

I am convinced it's his f***ing ego that's the problem. Totally unable to admit that he has made mistakes, thus the inactivity in the window. Yes, January is a difficult time to get players, but if the will is there, it could be done, especially if the selling club needs the money (Everton/Fellaini)?
I am convinced there is circa £40-50m sitting in that account for transfers. The profit and loss accounts take into consideration loan repayments - it's a fixed cost for heavens sake, so this argument we cannot spend because ofv the repayments scheduled is sheer nonsense. Let's see if they can attract players in the summer knowing they will be spending a Thursday night playing Neftci of Ajerbaijan.

with the lack of coaching, training, tactics and preparation, it doesn't matter who we buy. he's not going to drop Ramsay, santos or chesney, or put more time in with the defence on the training pitch.

Villa is not going to stop the defence leaking goals, nor is he going to protect the back four whilst spreading the play on the counter or patiently.

We can spend of course, but have not spent.
A swift look at our spending and sales patterns of the last few seasons shows us selling off major players to meet the stadium bond repayments.

Our profit outside of player sales and property sales is nothing special.

Seems to me that because the bond would be financially prohibitive to pay off early, Kroenke has decided to store what we owe on the stadium in the bank, before much thought of a spending spree on players, though that might change a bit when the new sponsorship deals happen over the next 18 months.

Barcawhores don't want to sell him..To US!!!....$hitty will steam in with a £20mill bid 6 hours before the deadline and it'll all go through whilst the uselss prick managing our club will shrug his shoulders and smile - knowing the balance sheets are looking Good!. :banghead: feckin *word censored* whore twat! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Every player is for sale at the right price. But easy to hide behind the "they don't want to sell" if you are not willing to pay their asking price....

I don't believe that a Spanish club - even Barca - could resist a decent offer for a fringe player given the current state of the Spanish economy!!
