Maybe not appropriate, but I was watching the Blackburn game tonight and they stopped the game for 10 minutes due to a medical emergency in the stands.
Going back a few years they wouldn't have stopped and just carried on playing.
West stand upper was where people used to be where you would see the stewards carrying people out . it used to be more entertaining than the game in the 60's

I am a bit puzzled by this as well. It has happened a few times recently. Not sure why the game has to stop as it must be possible to deal with it without halting the game as happened in days of yore.
