Maybe not appropriate, but I was watching the Blackburn game tonight and they stopped the game for 10 minutes due to a medical emergency in the stands.
Going back a few years they wouldn't have stopped and just carried on playing.
West stand upper was where people used to be where you would see the stewards carrying people out . it used to be more entertaining than the game in the 60's

I am a bit puzzled by this as well. It has happened a few times recently. Not sure why the game has to stop as it must be possible to deal with it without halting the game as happened in days of yore.

Is it to give idiots time to dwell in grief-porn and feel better about themselves by typing "love and prayers" into their social media to make sure everyone knows they were there and were "affected" by the incident?
