THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Well personally I think an Arsenal without Wenger is like an Oirish post office without a bald ugly bloke.

Fill ya boots mate, I've got broad shoulders

Can't get the link to work mate, but these days producing a Virtual XI is like kid's play. I'm sure between us we could come up with a Virtual squad of 30 players and even an academy

Yes, but at least it was only twice. Unlike the second match when we were on the receiving end of a drubbing that day because the keeper was wearing lead boots   Apparently even Almunia was pissing himself watching that.

It's funny how many tines Wenger references players he nearly got, as though it's an achievement, especially at a time when we have so many average players in our squad.

Yep and I see Higuain being linked again today - fuck me, he'll soon be challenging Remy and Kalou for the number of consecutive transfer windows linked with Arsenal without actually ever joining

As I posted on the Tottenham thread.
To quote from Breaking Bad, Wenger wouldnt know a world class footballer, even if he was close enough to check his prostate.
This proves it.

If the pro-Wenger PR team are so desperate to shore up Mr Magoo that they’re enlisting Steve Bruce for help then Christ help them. Orwell would have a field day with all this – it’s the ministry of truth writ large.

The only thing I’d enlist Bruce’s help with is eating a room full of pies.
