I've got the DVD of this transfer window. I've seen it loads of times. I'll let you into a secret about the ending if you really want. In the last scene, the other clubs buy loads of players but we don't. Then mentalist Wenger comes out and claims it is satanic (or some other rubbish) of other clubs to buy players and that God will damn them to years in hell. Everybody laughs at him, the media have a field day with Arsenal in crisis headlines when we lose the next 20 games but he still stays in charge to do it all again in July and next January.

Great point made on Radio earlier - we have sold loads of players to Barcelona...some supposedly not for sale, but then the money talks. Should we not have the balls/leverage/negotiating skills now with them to say ''ok we want Villa now as you clearly don't anymore'' ? Clearly not!! If he goes to another premiership club then I hope an even bigger shit storm envelops AW and all the rest of the useless cronies as will expose even more lies,bullshit and spin

This actually wouldn't surprise me, and I don't think we have bid on players just to say arsene tried, I honestly don't think anyone decent wants to come to us sadly

He bid £50 for Messi, £35 for Ronaldo and a tenner for Neymar. "We worked very hard on trying to bring the right players to the club but in the end, their clubs wanted ridiculous money. We made bids that we thought were sensible and realistic."
