Not sure what to think about this one. I think that Ramsey could be good, but not right now. I'd like to see him on loan going there for a year, but for £10 million, I'd be inclined to sell.

The negative side of this is that he qualifies as Home Grown, so not sure if it will happen.
This will be a good move all round I think.

He needs a change to get back on track and didn't take his.opportunity here.

I like Ramsey and feel the lad deserves more time to prove himself after his shocking injury.

No doubt though he had a poor season in terms of effectiveness, but worked hard in terms of running to try and remedy that.

If M'Vila or another good quality central midfielder was bought then I would be open to a Ramsey loan move, but it might be premature to sell him outright until all can see how well he does next season.

Thing is he had the back end of two seasons ago which included a loan and then.a pre season, he also had a clear run in the team in a very favourable position, he can't hide behind injury or age, he simply wasn't up to.it.

Harsh but true.

But Ramsey was in good form before he got injured, he was passing really well and was making strong forward runs.

Can take players ages to come back from serious injury, even Pires took a while to get back to top form.

Ramsey is still young so why not see how he does on loan before selling?
Especially as he can play in any of the three central midfield positions.

We do not know for sure that Wilshere will get back to high standards after two injuries, or that Frimpong will fully recover from his second ligament injury, plus Rosicky and Arteta have both recently had less serious injuries.

Sagna will not be fit for the start of the season, at least according to stories online (pinch of salt?) which could mean that Coquelin is needed at right back?

Diaby is usually injured. Benayoun is unlikely to return.

It leaves us with just Oxlade-Chamberlain, Gervinho, Song and Yennaris who can play in one of the three central positions and are confirmed as fully fit!

Makes me see the need for another signing.

A loan would be better I guess but I have my doubts about him in general.

I think people want him to be better than he is because he stabbed United.

I agree with quartz 100% - would be happy to see ramsey going on loan to another premier league club but wouldnt be comfortable selling him yet

I'm still dissapointed we let go of Eduardo , he had a decent run with Shakhtar and he was such a good finisher when he first popped up on the scene, he would have given us so much more than Bendy, Chamakh or Park

Agreed, I woulda sent him out on loan for a year. He needed some time out of the spotlight to get his confidence back but when he was on it he was fucking clinical.

ramsey only rejected united cos we offered him 30k a week.

as for eduardo. no. ukrainian league is piss poor. for a club of our supposed stature/ambitions (not 4th place trophy) he isnt good enough anymore. sure hes better than park and the camel but thats not difficult.

Its good news that Giroud is finally a Gooner.
It's better news that Le Prof is getting his business completed earlier than usual.

Arsenal's Nicklas Bendtner is getting closer to deciding on his future amid 'overwhelming' and 'global' interest in his services, according to his representative.

The Denmark striker spent last season on loan at Sunderland but has no plans to return to the Stadium of Light or Emirates Stadium.

Bendtner did not do badly in advertising himself at Euro 2012, where he scored twice in the 3-2 defeat by Portugal.

And the 24-year-old's agent, Jesper Lynghus, claims a number of clubs from around the world have been showing interest.

Speaking to Danish newspaper bold.dk, Lynghus said: "The interest is overwhelming, just as it should be after the way Nicklas performed at Euro 2012.

"We are getting closer day by day.

"We are not commenting on individual deals at the moment, but it is fair to say the interest in Nicklas is global."

Rennes have had an offer of £4.1million for centre back Abdou Kader Mangane, with Arsenal showing interest.

Manager Arsene Wenger is looking for defensive cover and Mangane, 29, is on his radar. The French club would not confirm the offer but Mangane wants to move to England.
