As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Now I am completely in favour of Arsene Wenger remaining as Manager of Arsenal FC until HE decides to call it a day and not when anybody on here says he should get the push. What this man has done for this club far exceeds anything in the past decades before his arrival, the man is a genius just like Sir Patrick Moore (RIP) was and nobody should think otherwise.
I really do think that we should turn our attention to supporting our club and ignore this modern day jibberish that emenates from the young of today and yes tomorrow will see the fruits of our labour and support for what we cherish "A SUCCESSFUL END TO THE SEASON" AND THE SEASON AFTER THIS ONE. Amen.
Frank Warren on Talkshite talking about the boxing this weekend then Jason Cundy asked him for his views on The Arsenal..he went off on one about Arsole and said if he was in charge Wenger would be out the door Cundy was trying to get a word in..but Warren was in full rant the midnight news was the 3 mins past midnight news
The Tottenham Hotspur defender Jan Vertonghen said yesterday that he turned down Arsenal because Arsène Wenger wanted to convert him into a midfielder. He said: "[Arsenal's interest] was concrete, but they wanted me to be a controller in the midfield, an Emmanuel Petit-type. I'm not afraid of competition, but the overall picture of Spurs appealed to me more."
That sounds about right- if ODL gets more money to spend he'll buy players and play them in the wrong positions to try and claim credit for their "conversion". I can just see, even if he was forced to buy in the January window, him playing Huntelaar out wide.
This is why he should not be allowed to spend any cash- a full removal of this hasbeen is the only way forward.
Hi mate, it's not meant as a slur or insult to the German people. It's just a very widely used clip people use to take the piss out of things in the news etc. It's because you can basically fit any incident into the tantrum Adolf has...
Arsène Wenger believes experience will be vital in helping his side recover from their Capital One Cup quarter-final defeat to Bradford.
The League Two side caused a major shock when they beat Arsenal in a penalty shoot-out at the Coral Windows Stadium on Tuesday night.
Wenger is still frustrated by the result, but says it is important his side now turn their focus to the next game - against Reading at the Madejski Stadium.
“I can understand that people criticise when the results are not as expected,” the manager said.
“It looks like it has become the modern way to think. You say that 16 years [in charge] can be a handicap, but it can also be an advantage because you have experience, you love the Club.
“If I sit here, it is because I have really shown how much I love this Club. We have gone through difficult periods before and you know how to turn it around.
“Experience is vital. Having said that, in 16 years, it’s the first time we have gone out against [a team from] a lower division. It is one time too many, but our record still shows we have been consistently focused on the competition.
“We prepared for the game seriously and I don’t believe there is much more to say about that. We have to swallow that and take care of what’s important - the future.
“Our season will not be judged on how well we do in the Capital One Cup, but how well we do in the Premier League, the Champions League and the FA Cup.”
All of which we will be out of by the end of February.
