THE WENGER THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

If he signs a new deal (regardless of the length of the deal), then I am finished with the club - I will put together all my old AFC jerseys and I will package them and send them back to ivan gazidas with a letter explaining why I will never waste another second of my life worrying about a club that continues to shit on the fans and sell it's history down the river to make money for a greedy American crunt.
You reckon you "built the club" arsene ? Well you can have it and continue to do what you want with it

If that is true and he even so much as looks at a new contract, I'm done. What this should mean then, is an escalation in the protests. Let the stupid old *word censored* know that he will not be tolerated any more. Make it plainly fucking obvious that he shouldn't sign a new contract.

With any luck, this story might be a way for him to leave with his ego intact and on his terms. Hopefully, it'll be a cover story to allow the PR machine to make it seem as if he has benevolently stepped down. That there was a 'contract' on offer but he chose reject it for the good of the club. The way the propaganda machine works at this club, it wouldn't surprise me. Anyway, the fraud can't be allowed to sign a new contract. No fucking way.

I hadn't considered that - But it would make perfect business/money sense - Seeing as they will not allow the olgarch on the board and so he is probably sitting back listening to his shares go kerrrcchhiiiingg.

A new contract eh you said? WTF. Ah well, nothing I can do about it. Now, where do I renew.... :rubchin:

After his "built the club" remarks and a season where Spuds and Leicester leave him trailing in the dust (after standard CL failure), I would love to see the spin on this. Wouldn't surprise me if true, the laughable contempt showed to the fans is shocking. Then again, if you kept shitting down someone's throat and before each new time they paid you £1400 for the pleasure then why would you stop doing it? Kroenke is smart and bullet-proof. He will keep raking it in, the tills will keep ringing, the media will keep being cowards and the Emirates will carry on filling up with fans convinced there's "no point" protesting etc....

Club is dead. Thanks Wenker, nice one AKBs and nice one Red Action for solidifying Wenker and Kroenke base. :banghead:

Oh the bright side, our ever-brilliant revolutionary fan groups will be on the case soon. I await with glee, the press releases from Red Action, AST, AISA and BSM. I expect more "strongly worded" toilet paper/ fish and chip wrapper; that will blame Kroenke, Gazidis, the ECB, the ANC, the NBA, and tectonic plates....

Don't ever expect to read a single word about the common denominator in 12 years of bollocks failure though

This is literally a copy-paste of the prelude to the RVP transfer. If Lord A-hole ignored players like Henry, Vieira and RVP when they begged for heavy spending on quality...

Ozil is a goner.

Why would it surprise anybody that he would be offered a new contract . And why would he NOT take it ?
Nothing has changed and the cash produced by the chumps league qualification keeps rolling in.
If fans dont renew they make more from tourists anyway .
Its all good at the conglomerates hog fest !

Because he has NEVER seen the level of dissent from the fans like he is now - it has taken years for many of those fans to turn against him, and surely the club would realise that the feelings of the fans must be desperate for so many wenker lovers to now want him out ? This is a situation that would take a long time to fade away - maybe he signs some quality players next summer (and keeps the one's we already have) and maybe we start the season strong, but as soon as the half arsed/cant be bothered performances kick in (and they will) then the stadium will turn poisonous again because the lack of tactical acumen and motivation will again be plain for all to see
