Arsenalisation pics

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

So it's true, the sun really does shine out of Bergkamp's arse!

Yayyy! They put up my drawings!!! :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

Seriously though, not so sure about all the children's collages stuff. I'm guessing they're up around the FE and I get the what they're trying to do & everything, but it just makes it look like a bloody creche!

Nice one anyway, Bas.

Is the childrens drawings part not a replica of the mural that is in the Arsenal tube station? Not 100% on this but think it has been mentioned before.

Is it? The one along the tunnel wall? Fair enough if it is, still looks a bit cack to me.

I'm not sure like I say sorry. I remember hearing that they were going to put a replica of that up in the stadium, just assumed that was it as I walked past it last night.

Is that meant to be the iconic image of Tony Adams btw?

Clearly jetting round scouting for Arsene has helped him pick up a tan

Those photos are actually at Block 6, and yes, the drawings are a recreation of the Final Salute mural at the station.

I was a bit disappointed to see that the whole pic wasnt lit up outside (although glad the real DB10 was), and only really the E*****s logo.....

Bearing in mind his utterly shite attitude toward us when with Leeds United, would you put David O'Leary on a core?
Personally, I'd say no. I've had no complaints about any players picked yet though. Looks excellent.

Only concern... if they're made of a mesh/fabric, surely they'll rip easily in heavy wind or when away fans chuck broken bottles at them? :?

Interesting.

So you and Charlie! Charlie! would happily leave out a one-club player (something which Tony Adams regularly gets lauded for) and our all-time appearance holder for The Arsenal?

Controversial.
Just my gut instinct at the time, I would have no emotions with him in or out. A club legend who turned into a moaning *word censored* whenver it came to us.

IF the drawings have been done by local school children, then I have no problem with them as all I really want is a stadium that feels alive, passionate and part of the community... involving locals does that, and it's great that the grey empty bowl is becoming a home to the Arsenal and the fans.

Keep up the good work, Arsenal! 8)

And Eboue. Apparently he's repeating his year 6 SATs (for the 15th time) & hoping to go to "big-school" next year. 8)

I'm afraid that the children's drawings just make the thing look cheap and less attractive to the eye.   Who actually thought it would look good in amongst the other stuff? :? Shocking!!

As for the images of the players on the outside being blacked-out (most probably to emphasis more the E******* logo) - that's absolutely stupid if not disgraceful!! :banghead: Typical Arsenal - finally get some things right yet then go and make foolish mistakes that undermine them!! :banghead:
