Have a fiver on New Zealand to win 1-0 today at 16/1 and a fiver on Italy to win 2-1 at 5/1 (bet in running at half time, Italy down 1-0).

Come on you fuckers!! :barscarf:

I wouldn't write the Italy one off yet, cos not only are they the jammiest buggers ever, but i wouldn't rule out the possibility of a bought and paid for ref giving them a dodgy penalty or a dodgy Slovakia sending off..

Gonna do Holland and Denmark tonight, with Robin and Nicklas both scoring. :)

Don't know but PaddyPower in Dublin yesterday only offered me 5/1 on Germany to beat Engerland on pennos. ON PENNOS! AFTER 120 MINUTES OF FOOTY! Miserable bastards. Gonna try a few bookies Sunday morning to see if any are offering it at better odds than a miserly fucking 5/1.

Bring Back Pires wrote:The World Cup bets are placed:

- France, Argentina, England, Germany, Netherlands, Italy, Brazil and Spain to win their groups (£5 returns £170)

I'd be surprised if the group forecast came in (hence the long odds), but am reasonably confident about the group winners bet. My only doubt is France, but I certainly wasn't going to back any of the others in their group. Plus, AW said France would win the group.

And Arsene knows! Image
can't see italy or france to win their group

looked at individual games before any match kicks off

ARGENTINA 1/2 vs nigeria
HOLLAND 8/15 vs denmark
BRAZIL 8/13 vs ivory coast
ARGENTINA 4/6 vs greece
HOLLAND 4/11 vs japan
ENGLAND 1/2 vs slovenia
SPAIN 4/7 vs chile
HOLLAND 4/5 vs cameroon

ok some of these are the last games of the group but they should prove too strong..... I'll be doing 6 folds on the above
£240 NOTES IF SPAIN WIN V CHILE..... GET IN THERE

Hoping for some goals tonight to cheer me up after yesterday! Got good odds for over 2.5 in the Brazil v Chile game and Holland leading half/time full time.

Some extra time and penalties would be fun too, can't see it though, think Brazil and Holland will go through.
