PRE GAME BARCA THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

I fucking hate the clge and all the sponsorship and advertising that goes with it and the predictiblility of the "fixed draws"
It is the most fan unfriendly competition in the world. With fans expected to turn up for the tedious group stage games, the knock-out stages and then not have a fucking flying fucks chance of getting a ticket for the final.
FUCK UEFA AND THEIR "FLAGSHIP" SHITE OF A COMPETITION. :banghead: :banghead:

I think thats actually more important that Cesc playing tbh. If Gallas and Vermalen start we have a real chance of keeping a clean sheet, which would benefit us imo.

Yeah like we've kept lots of clean sheets this season when they both started.

It's a sid-off!

Hmm I'd be doubtful about Gallas without match practice too. At least campbell has the organisation and motivational skills, if not the speed. Think maybe one will start each half.

Cesc and Diaby are the priority. How's RVP coming along??

I said we had more of a chance, not that we would.

Just a thought about the beer situation. Why can't we buy booze in advance and then just collect it on the night without having to 'pay.'

It pisses me right off that in other countries you can buy booze during European games but in England, it's as if one sip of beer will turn us all into raging lunatics and get us banned from European competition again.

As for the football, a breezy 3-0. NB hat-trick (of misses) before Eboue scores three crackers, all in stoppage time.

I'm curiously relaxed about this game. I think it's because as soon as the draw was made I was convinced we had no chance of the CL this year, so my expectations are low. Any half decent result tonight will see me over the moon.

Anyway, got my shirt on already. I will not be getting to the ground early tho cos of the booze situation. :x

Aim to stand all the game as we are in the back row. 8) :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:
