EVERTON AWAY THREAD

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Get in! 8) great result!!!!

SHOCKING decision to take Chamakh off with 2 minutes left though - and for Eboue???? :? - how the fuck does that help?? Eboue's passing is erratic at the best of times, but coming into a fast paced game with no time to adjust was asking a lot, and Nasri isn't a target man... he isn't going to win a header against the defence, and Chamakh's aerial ability was useful when defending corners, too!

Odd, I thought - and put more pressure on us, with any punt forward bound to come straight back at us.

Still, we won - and deservedly so. Get in!!!! :barscarf:

:barscarf: :barscarf: :barscarf:

I can't remember the last time an Arsenal GK had such an impressive performance! We finally have a No. 1!!!

Nasri is getting better and better every time I see him, especially considering we were not at home.

Great win overall!

Was it sterwart robson by any chance? I had that stream. The guy is a bitter *word censored* with an axe to grind about the arsenal. The worst thing is that he works on the ATV friday night show, gets a lot of grief though.

Turnip has a habit of making some baffling decisions like that when he gets nervous.

Flappy was fucking brill today. Shame we can't control the midfield or defend for a full 90 mins. :banghead: Nearly threw it away at the end.

Cracking result, gonna be a nervous wreck before long though.

Djourou motm, really liked the shape denilson gave us when he came on. Handy player for holding on to a lead but useless for putting teams to the sword at the grove.

It's true that your 'cock' remark had 2 possible meanings... however, on this occasion, both were equally valid

agreed. I'd be tempted to play Denilson away from home and Jack at Ashburton Grove.

Big Big 3pts but -

1. Imo song was pure shite (sorry rebs). His tackling is still shit, his passing was embarrassing and he was destroyed in the air time and time again (not least for their goal).

2. Squillachi is not good enough. He is hesitant, nowhere near dominant in the air and is as slow as a cart horse

3. We made the last 15-20mins far harder than it should have been. We were in total control and looked threatening every time we attacked but of course we decided to be smartarses and do keep ball instead as we played sidewards and backwards followed swiftly by handing possession back to them via bad passing  :banghead: Sometimes these cocks get above themselves :x

5. Substitutions were woeful. Tbf I thought denilson did very well but I also thought taking off arshavin was a bad move but the eboue for chamakh decision was absolutely ridiculous and baffling :? We basically decided to bring in the cheating *word censored* and surrender possession for them to launch balls into our area
