A dreadful draw, but the battering could lead to Wenger finally waking up, doubt it, or realising it is time to call it a day.

Sorry, but it is probably the first time that we have effectively been knocked out of a tournament by a draw before a ball has even been kicked.

We would have given our eye teeth for Real now!
I should be really excited about playing them but I cannot sun up any enthusiasm for this one. As you say it's a dreadful draw and one I think I'll watch at home and save some money....

Sagna suspended for both games as well, probably our best defender.... Step forward Eboue....

Anyway, I think in one way at least we won't be underestimating them like with the German sides. I had a feeling they were going to spank us anyway.

Well it is nothing less than what we deserve after fucking up our group after total control.

If we won the group we would have AS Roma - not easy but not as hard as Barcelona.

But it is teams like Barcelona who we HAVE to beat to win the Champions League so if we go out there and play our fucking boots off at both Ashburton Grove and the Nou Camp and WIN then that is one step closer to winning the cup.

Why worry anyway we have NA NA N NA NA SAM-IR NAS-ER-I!! :barscarf: :barscarf:

And Eboue, Denilson, Diaby, Vela and Bendtner :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

All I want is the team to go to Barcelona and play their hearts out ... as it was a 'live or die' match for all of them. We can be beaten, but we can't hide ourselves on the pitch.

This Barcelona side are probably the best team I've ever seen.

Even the Invincible side would have a mamooth task, nevermind this garbage side we currently have.

For me, this will be a very interesting game from the point of view of seeing what, if anything Arsene Wenger has learned. Last time against Barcelona he tried to play the usual Arsenal way, but being the best footballing side in the prem isnt enough against a side like them. He needs to change his approach, especially in the away leg, and it will be interesting to see if he has the tactical nous and the players to do it.

Typical that Chelsea get the fucking easy game against Copenhagen mind!

From the BBC site...
"It is a tough draw for us," said Gunners secretary David Miles.

"But given that Barcelona got the better of us last year we feel that the time is right and that we can turn the tables this time.

"Lionel Messi is obviously one of the quality players in Europe and manager Arsene Wenger will have done his homework. He is their main danger man."
