Can we F*ck up v Wolves?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Mick is slowly climbing up my estimation after beating the mancs.

Fair play to him, you just know that if that was pulis, hughes or fat sam they would have used their post-match interview to complain about a lack of warmth in AW's handshake or some such shit.
Spot on, I definitely prefer him to Pulis et. al., who are a bunch of c**ts.

Whose got that gif of Mick raising his eyebrow after beating Man U? It's class.
Definately. Its hard to pin mick down really, he was an old fashioned destroyer in his playing days and is clearly nostalgic about that form of the game but at the same time wolves play some tidy stuff and he undoubtedly has an eye for good football.

Anyway, i made up a mick mccarthy drinking game during the world cup (which i played by myself because im a sad fucker). When he was commentating on a game, everytime he said "that was never a foul" when a foul has been given you drink. I was quite tommy tankered by the end 8)

Goal is correct decision says Sepp Blatter 8)

RVP off for Bendtner
The 2nd Phase offside rule doesn't apply anymore. It was changed at the start of last season

Me too mate but the only way to get over last weekends fiasco was to win! We made a lot chances and kept a clean sheet so thats a good reaction!
Couldn't agree more. If last week doesn't happen the question today as that day against the Brummies is 2-0 - why wasn't it 12-0?. I'm still waiting for us to score another goal or two that day

But yes good that we had had to play 90 minutes today because we need to learn to play 90 every match and every opponent still it seems after last week.

Thought Jack was absolutely commanding in midfield today and was my man of the match. 8) It was noticeable that after about 15-20 minutes, Henry switched from man marking Cesc, to trying to do that job on Jack, such was his growing influence. The only thing he needs to start doing is shooting more - like he used to for the youth side - because goals are definitely something that he has in his locker. 8)

Well said - all Jack is missing is real consistent goal threat in his own right. Add that in and look out....

Pretty solid performance all round. The squandering of chances continues to worry me rather, as it has done all season though. I know at some point they're gonna cost us. We shoulda had at least 4 today to be honest.

Fair play to Mick as well. Like him or loathe him, he seems to call things as he sees it & the majority of the time he seems to get it right.

Bring on Barcelona! :worried:

Hate it when we play towards the north bank first half! Apart from that great result. Jack looking strong as does theo and rvp.

Is it me or is Jack too reluctant to shoot? whenever he got into a great position he passed it. I think he needs a bit more confidence going forwards
