Cesc must quit for Barca

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

"Yeah, we wanna sign you but you're not worth fuck all so you'll have to sulk and strike so we can get you cheaper"

A big part of the game is confidence and that would shatter mine.
Then you don't deserve to wear the shirt.

I, for one, think it would not only be a big loss to us as suporters but also to the likes of Wilshere and Ramsey et al who could've played and learned so much more from Cesc.

Even though Cesc is still young, he is also an experienced campaigner. Who would they look up to and learn from?

Fabregas will be twice the player he currently is playing for Barca and wont spend a lot of time on the bench
Course he will. Xavi,Iniesta and Busquets are the best midfield 3 in the world. How is Cesc going to get into that? Its not a slight on him, its just the other 3 are so superb.

Yes, quite a frightening thought. Not forgetting our "tough tackling", "winner" Denilson.

I don't drink so I'll be booed at for that :)
I'll try to cut down on the diving but I'm sure Gomes caught my little toe! Bastard. It's not my fault I missed the target from 2 yards out though, I thought a back pass to Bendtner would be the best option. :D

So in other words you bottled out of taking the chance yourself and passed the buck ? Typical modern day Arsenal player

@Everyone who believes Cesc wants to leave Arsenal for Barca:

Since I can see that people are still banging on about Cesc wanting to leave, I’ll show you how the press has reported Cesc’s most recent alleged statement about wanting to return to Barca, and then show you what he actually said:

Here’s how the media is reporting it (this particular example is from footylatest):

“Even Fabregas is optimistic about Barcelona deal

The Arsenal midfielder Cesc Fabregas is looking more and more likely to realise his dream of moving back to Barcelona, as even Arsene Wenger seems to have accepted that his captain’s heart is no longer with Arsenal…

Fabregas himself is calm about it all, but “optimisticâ€

Just seen this.......two points

1) I can understand his will to go to Barca - the best team in Europe (on the pitch), he is not just Spanish, he is Catalan, so i get that.
But if he chooses to go there...he can fuck right off.

2) Surely a £50m bid throws Barac out the water anyway......so....a sign he could even stay?
