As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
we'll see at the end of the season, the board were loving wenger getting only 4th to get the CL money without spending, but if we finnish 5th will they be so understanding. i think not the warchest will be well and truely opened and spent
truth is, we had a good run of about 10 games that made me change my mind about the team - but the truth is that we have changed nothing from the last 4-5 seasons.
it's still a team of pussies, with no quality in depth.
shamefully that won't change with the same people in charge i'm afraid

And bring Squillaci on???
Hell no!
She may be a bird but she ain't that stupid!!!!
That's the problem though. The injuries we have had in defence have been unbelievable to happen all at the same time.
Which is why we have to play the likes of Djourou and Squillaci. Two players who should be nowhere near an Arsenal 1st Xi
An easy Xmas schedule - 2 home matches v Wolves and QPR followed by the short hop across London to Fulham - those poor tired bunch of pussies we have playing for us - with a few, very few, notable exceptions.
Some are not of the required standard.
Some do not have the brain.
It took Wenger 7 seasons to get rid of Senderos, so no way will he ditch some of his newer signings as it is admitting he is wrong and as we all know that never happens.
The second half was about as poor as anything we've served up since Blackburn away.
I sometimes wonder what Alex Song's role in the team is supposed to be. Arteta is doing all of the hard work back there, whilst Song plods around either fouling the closest player or putting his arms behind his back because he doesn't trust himself to tackle. The type of game we've just lost is exactly the kind of game where the anchor midfielder is supposed to come into his own i.e. protecting the backline from an onslaught. I lost count of how many times Dembele, Frei and Ruiz just turned him and left him without so much as a tackle or block offered up.
Szezcny was fucking awful at set plays too, but can be forgiven given the way he's performed this season. He cost us the first and had enough warning when Swiss Tony headed over minutes before.
As for Daleyinho and Walcott, words fail me. The cheeky, useless little fucker wants 85k per week? Well go fucking find it elsewhere - nearly six years of misfiring performances and barely able to put in a cross still. Oh yeah, I forgot he should be a central striker (as proved by that deadly one-on-one finishing against QPR)
