Time to Stand Up? AGM and fan discontent

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

@johncrossmirror: Here's Wenger. Thank Goodness. Apologises for last night. 'Id like to publicly thank Pat Rice' for 16 years of service.

‏@UndeadGooner: Somewhere today while bathing in childrens tears, Usmanov lights a fat cigar with a bloodied £50 note... ...and smiles. #arsenalAGM

@10akhil: AW knows we want to win #afcagm

@DarrenArsenal1: AW "having said that we finished 3rd,a season with difficult start, we needed to be solid to get 3rd"

@johncrossmirror: Wenger acknowledges dissatisfaction. 'But it's important we not get overboard. If everybody is devastated when we finish third I promise I won't be here when we finish 15th. We lost our first CL game in 43. That shows we're solid.' Oh no, now he's offering up loss of Diaby...

@DarrenArsenal1: AW"the players we bought would be a success" "we hit wall in last 2 games in an unexplainable way" "good news some players coming back"

@johncrossmirror: Wenger admits thy anticipated RvP departure and says 3 new players in will be success but says 'hit wall' in last 2 games.

@johncrossmirror: #afc Wenger: 'I believe this team can deliver. I'm optimistic that we can have a good season & I'm confident the players can prove us right'

@BlackScarfAFC: RvP sold for "footballing reasons". That's a real downer for the club; basically our captain was right that we lack ambition.

@TimPayton: Wenger optimistic we will have a good season. Then sidesteps financial debate & says it isn't to do with him but praises self-sustainability

@DarrenArsenal1: AW "Would like to say every club uses money from its own resources. Our policy will stay same, produce own players 60-80% will be own ranks"

@SheWore: Wenger reaffirming commitment from him personally but would have to question some of the players.
