The thing that summed our play up today was the amount of times that our midfield recieved the ball, with their back to the opposition goal and instantly played the ball back to a defender - hardly ever did they turn with the ball and look to go forward, ebven when they had time and space to do so :banghead: :banghead:

We had nobody who beat their man and drove forward intent on getting into the box.

Opposition teams always look dangerous against us because they attack, go for the jugular, make our defence back peddle, while we fanny around keeping possesion before passing it all the way back to Schezney to hoof 50 yards up the pitch

Another piss poor display against a shite team we managed to make look dangerous.

FFS Wenger don't insult the fans with the tired BS, get Mo Farah's coach in so we are no longer a little bid jaded physically.

On train coming back from a dire 90 mins, not looking 4ward to Everton on Wed, glad i've decided to go Crawley vs Chelmsford City next sat!

this is what has been doing my fucking head in since the chavski game.we play like Roy hodgsons England, the midfieId hold the ball going sideways, backwards, sideways ,backwards, this means the oppositon get the chance to get everybody behind the ball.why the fuck cant we receive the ball and move forward with speed lik we used to,DIABY GET FIT FFS!!!!!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

Too be fair, Wilshere also has that drive that we lacked today. He's capable of turning defence into attack instantly with a drop of the shoulder or burst of pace. That will hopefully add something to our midfield in the coming weeks and months.

But as stuart said, the amount of times our midfield had their backs to goal and simply passed sideways or played the ball back to Mertesacker instead of turning and driving forward was depressing to watch and made for a very slow, predictable game. No one was taking responsibility and trying to drag us forward. Very poor :(

V strained press conference on chanting from Wenger

Personally kicking out Wenger from Arsenal is going to lead to more problems, the fans need to stick together and support the club

Some of the performances this season - and indeed for the past 18 months - have been as bad and uninspiring as anything ever seen by the worst of George Graham's sides. Even if short on ability, at least they'd show some passion. It appears this lot couldn't give enough of a shit to even try and win the game!!  :banghead:

Since the start of last season, Arsenal¿s Premier League win % with Ramsey starting is 41% compared to 71% with him not in the first 11

Wenger at it again...
"Is it hurtful? Look, I have managed for 30 years at the top level and I have to convince you I can manage the team?

"How many games have you managed? I promise you if you manage one I will sit in the stands and chant 'you know what you are doing!
"'
Pathetic comment.

Understandably jaded after a difficult game midweek against a very strong montpellier. And then to play an in form villa! How unlucky was that. Thought we showed a lot of character though in such weather.... Important to keep jack fresh for the challenge of bradford which is now less than 3 weeks away!
