The Yaya Sanogo lack of Progress Thread
Re: The Yaya Sanogo Progress Thread
It dawned on Wenger and the coaching staff that he isn't actually a footballer?

Re:
For all the accusations of blind pessimism etc Sanogo has done exactly what half the people on here said he would: had a few fleeting appearances leading everybody to question how he makes a living out of playing any sort of football before picking up some innocuous injury and disappearing for months.Red Gunner wrote:What happened to him? FFS sometimes I feel I know more about some signings from a quick Google search than our scouting/management do when we sign them

Now that we're out of the League Cup will we ever see the bloke play another first team game.
Matchday six in the CL if we're already through and send the youngsters out for a pasting in Naples ?
FA Cup 5th round when the cup we can win inconveniently gets in the way of the one we won't?
If not either of those I can see him slipping away on loan never to be seen again

Is he still alive?
Re: The Yaya Sanogo Progress Thread
Gonna let the guy play for us half a dozen times before ridiculing him, or is that too much to ask?

Re: The Yaya Sanogo Progress Thread
What I don't understand is why we have given and injury plagued player a four year contract @ a reported salary of $30 k per week 6 million over 4 years and that's without the medical bills .
I cannot think of a single club on the planet who would piss money away in such a reckless fashion, there was no chase for him ,im sure he was on less than 5 k with Auxerre.
He has played as much football as Diaby over the last 2 years,he might be one for the future ,but pay them accordingly and dont bind yourself to a long term contract for a player who has an appalling medical history .
I dont blame the lad at all !

So far he's only managed 9 minutes due to his inability to stay fit, which was raised as a concern by just about anybody with access to a computer when he signed. Although to be fair he has also done his best in those 9 minutes plus Emirates Cup appearance to give Bendtner as much confidence as possible by being twice as shit as him.Robin_L wrote:Gonna let the guy play for us half a dozen times before ridiculing him, or is that too much to ask?
I wonder if Wenger will eventually manage to rack up a decade's worth of loan deals between him, Campbell and Vela?

This has long been my argument on here, particularly when AKB's crack off the classic line of "But poor Arsene had no money to spend like the big bullies Citeh and Manure and the chav$ had". What utter bollocks.Herd wrote:What I don't understand is why we have given and injury plagued player a four year contract @ a reported salary of $30 k per week 6 million over 4 years and that's without the medical bills .

Judging someone as being shit after seeing so little of them is precisely what's wrong with the modern football fan. You probably want him shipped out in January right? What a world we live innorthbank123 wrote:So far he's only managed 9 minutes due to his inability to stay fit, which was raised as a concern by just about anybody with access to a computer when he signed. We have signed Sanogo. He has not made the headlines. Why? Because he is not £50m to £100 million but I am quite confident he will make them soon on the pitch, and that for me is the most important.

Seriously though, since we signed Ozil, we really have no excuse not to spend big now.

No, it's not. But will he ever be fit enough to play a dozen games?Robin_L wrote:Gonna let the guy play for us half a dozen times before ridiculing him, or is that too much to ask?
