Villa match thread

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That was hard to predict - Gibbs injured

So its "special circumstances" at left back. Let Santos go, Monreal and TV5 injured - sign nobody.

Welcome to the predictable world of the man who has worked in football for 30 years

I don't rate our goalkeeper that highly at all.

Doesn't read the game at all, his kicking is woeful and his cockiness exceeds his ability.

He can't do it because usually it's a red card!

Jenkinson at LB.

WTF is this,

Might as well put Mertesacker at LB, move Sagna at centre back and Jenkinson the right

Less than half an hour into the season and there is not a single left footed defender available

And fucking so obvious.....called this days ago. Miquel on loan too

How can anyone defend Wenger when these obvious things continue season after season

I really really cant be arsed to go through the hassle of trying to watch this game on some poxy website (this team frankly aint worth the frustration that comes with internet viewing) so can anyone tell me if Chesney was at fault for the pen ?

Didn't really have a choice. He was one-on-one with Agbonlahor, came out diving for the ball, Gab got there before him so Schezny took him out lol.

Every year. Every fucking year we are the only team that manages to have an injury crisis in July and August and it's all down to Wanker.

But imo he should've pulled back as he shouldn't risk getting sent off..
