Chavs (H) in the thingy cup
Re: Chavs (H) in the thingy cup
Mourinho must be inwardly pissing himself
9 attempts from Wenger to beat him, and he beats us the same way he did so easily every time before. Sit back, watch the weaklings pass it around in front of us, outmuscle them, get it forward quick and directly and soften them up like a pussycat having its tummy tickled......and that's why Wenger must go. He doesn't make the same mistake twice.....he makes it 9 times and will still take the same approach the 10th, 11th and 12th times too

i fear the old fucker, won't sign anyone in january unless we have a major injury crisis,
he will say he is happy with Giroud, Pod, Wally & (either Sanogo, Bendy or Park). I still believe the Ozil signing was a last minute panic buy.
Were the Higuian & Suarez deals every on, or just a load of media bollocks, the humilating 3-1 defeat at home to Villa, first game of the season and i think the club, thought "shit, we need to do something quick", they knew fans were getting depressed and pissed off, for the fact the only movement was freebies for Sanogo and Flamini, so they splashed the cash on Ozil.
Oh fucking hell not that nonsense again.

If I were in charge I would tell us to put all 11 behind the ball and give chelsea the ball then hit them on the break, like they do us. I can't stand this cb's at the halfway line bullshit.SteveO 35 wrote:Mourinho must be inwardly pissing himself

Jenkinson had no game plan, no-one to pass to, no support.Chippy wrote:No! Wenger did.1989 wrote:Jenkinson cost us the Carling Cup
the same as the midfield - how'd Jack do tonight ?
it's down to the manager and the opposition and lack of respect for them.

Re: Chavs (H) in the thingy cup
So our team features 3 players in the back line who've barely played this season and Bendtner up front - blimey, turn up for the books that we lost to nothing
For the second time in a week we've faced good opposition at home with very similar results. Conceded a very sloppy and avoidable first and a ruthless second showing the kind of quality and incision that has escaped us. Plenty of possession but basically nothing to show by way of chances and a largely untested night for the opposition keeper. Tonight especially was so predictable, with us conceding a poor goal in the first 30 mins and then huffing and puffing but never really looking like getting back into it before being killed off.
Mourinho always had the wood over Wenger because he saw him for the tactically naive and rigid manager that he is. When we go to Old Trafford and put in our annual travesty of a performance then United will soon be passing us in the table and we'll be left celebrating holding off Spurs by the skin of our teeth again by the time May comes.
Still, hope those on the HMS This Year is Different are enjoying themselves before the massive iceberg comes along.

it's not nonsense my friend, it's true.... 3-1 home defeat to Villa, lost out on the signings of Higuain and Suarez, only incomings were freebies, fans unrest and booing the team off, after just one league game, and banging OZIL arrives to keep the restless natives quiet, if the club rest on their laurels, the booing and discontent will be back come May

Arsene Wenger - the genius who will happily spend £42m on a midfielder to add to the another 9 we have, but not €32m on a striker to add to the one we have

The reality with Jenkinson is that he always, and I mean always, has a costly mistake in him. You can't carry a player like that and expect to win. He's a walking disaster. We all want him to succeed but the fact is he's not good enough and may never be.clockender1 wrote:Jenkinson had no game plan, no-one to pass to, no support.Chippy wrote:No! It's not a defence, and never was. It was just what happened.SteveO 35 wrote:But we nearly signed loads of strikers.......I thought you were offering that as some sort of defence for our Lord and Master when we scrambled around on the final day of a 3 month window trying to take Ba on the cheapg88ner wrote:1989 wrote:Jenkinson cost us the Carling Cup![]()

Yeah, that's the only thing between us and putting an end to an 8yr trophy drought. All down to Jenkinson.
Nope, nothing to do with our limp performance with zero cutting edge either. All down to Jenkinson. Brilliant.
I said it was stupid not to sign a striker, and I still think it was. In fact, that's surely something ALL fans, players and probably even Wenger would agree with (although Wenger wouldn't admit it obviously

Good....and I want every single person who allowed themselves to get suckered in by the Ozil signing to see it for what it was......covering up years of a shocking lack of investment and despite being a world class player, one in the position we needed it leastg88ner wrote:It's not a defence, and never was. Not fooled one bit. I would honestly say that I have never seen an Arsenal squad so lacking in striking options since Don Howe had to play Chris Whyte as emergency centre forward
People said we were shit in the 80s but I'd rather have Woodcock and Mariner than fucking Bendy BigBollox and Postman Pat.
WORST FORWARD LINE IN MY FUCKING LIFETIME !!!! PLEASE HERD OR ONE OF THE EVEN OLDER BOYS TELL ME THERE WAS A TIME IN THE MID-70's WHEN WE HAD WORSE FUCKING STRIKERS THAN BENDY, SQP AND AUXERRE'S ANSWER TO PARCELFORCE

wash your mouth out ! - they were both England strikers.SteveO 35 wrote:People said we were shit in the 80s but I'd rather have Woodcock and Mariner than fucking Bendy BigBollox and Postman Pat.
Woodcock was quality - won two European cups didn't he ?
Re: Chavs (H) in the thingy cup
Just out of interest, are you inferring that if a United second string can beat Norwich at home 4-0, we should be beating Chavs at home? - or have you just innocently cobbled that sentence onto the end of your post?clockender1 wrote:When was the last time we won at Stamford Bridge, Etipop or Old Trafford ?northbank123 wrote:Mourinho always had the wood over Wenger because he saw him for the tactically naive and rigid manager that he is.

Reason I ask is that, if you are inferring what I think you are, then you're bonkers.
