Met Liam Brady yesterday who has been out here with the under 15's for the Lion City Cup .
They did a light training session and is was same as any other Arsenal session ,endless short passing holding the ball
and little shooting.
Basically the training model is the same throughout the club,I asked if he didn't think it needed
adjusting and whilst he agreed it might, (for the senior model) it works very well for development of the younger lads.
He Also said that Wenger doesn't get involved at all with them until they reach the under 21 stage at the club and then he watches most if not all the games and some of their training at London Colney.
Very Nice humble man and a credit to the club, such a difference to some modern stars .

My sources tell me things have slowed down as Wengers search for a flunky is on the back burner until after he signs his new 4 year deal !

Bould wont go unless he's pushed !

And why shuld he - I mean he is learning (how not to use tactics/how not to buy players/how not to manage a team) from the grand master himself...also his £1.3 mill a year should keep him interested....

BOULDY THE NEW PAT RICE??

Not sure how much influence Bouldy is exerting over the professor.

Re the Manc game could you honestly ever see Bouldy and Adams agreeing to zonal mark for a corner?

Stick with your man and avoid the scenario where that ANUS WIPE has the chance to heap more misery on us.

Please Arsene listen to a man that has the experience and tactical nous to defend effectively.

That was the first goal conceded from a Set Peice this season i think?

Thats how many corners and free kicks?

I think a bit of perspective is needed, whilst it was a poor goal to concede, you can break down every single goal every scored.

Defensively we are much more sound, and that im sure is down to influence from Bould.

Despite the concession of that goal I think we are more solid now. Not too unhappy with oir defending and it was good to see TV5 reassert the defensive nous he displayed in his first season with us. Long may it continue. Be good to be able to say we have 3 solid CB's.

Our set piece defending is far better.

Lets face it, and im sure the stats will prove it, zonal marking is working for us. Granted RVP did us, but we generally have looked solid on corners unlike in the past when it was panic stations every time, and always seemed to fly in.

I think there's been a bit of exaggeration about how bad it was defensively. It was the biggest game of the season and one of Sky's showpiece matches so they had to make out it was a far more interesting incident than it was to gloss over the fact that the match was something of a damp squib and fuck all else happened.

You can highlight errors in any goal and whenever I've played in a system using zonal marking we've always still had 3 men to track runners, but ultimately it was a well-worked move, a great run and leap and shoulder or not he's put a difficult header into the top corner.

And lets not forget that Judas knows exactly how we set up for set pieces, because Wenger never changes anything.
