As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Nah, just totally disagree, the guy played his balls off for all but some bits the last year for us - small, maybe but never in a million years lightweight. No doubt he will boss teams around wherever he plays.
Always felt it was a mistake for him to go to Barca- I know others disagree.
He wore the shirt with a passion, knows the ethos- wish more had been like him over the years.

Think Im falling for the guy
Absolutely, the difference with Fabregas compared to almost our entire squad, was that he could perform in away matches, I remember a drawn game at Anfield where he totally outshone Stevie me.
I didn't like his hankering for a move to Barca, but to say he is anything but world class is just petty.
All I'm saying is seeing Cesc in a Chelsea shirt will hurt me like fuck.
Rvp , nasri , clichy , Adebayor... Got over them leaving for a rival in a day or 2 but Cesc was arsenal through and through during his time here and it will be horrible.
Buy him Wenger you twat!

The reasoning in bringing him back in terms of having him, Ozil and Ramsey all able to cover each other to avoid injuries is sound, but I can't help but feel the signing would be at the expense of what we really need, especially as that might justify the 'big summer signing' tag and after that we'd be looking at free transfers and loan deals on the 31st of August.

Yes how dare he sign for what appears to be the only club that wants him

No way is Chelsea the only club who wants him. He can go anywhere.
“If I ever wear a Chelsea shirt, you have the permission to kill me." - Cesc.
Arsenal legend my arse
*if he signs for us I will openlynadmit I jumped the gun but I don't see that happening.

Don't just making a sweeping statement...........tell us who fcuking wants him cos as far as the rest of us can see, only the chavs want and can afford him If this was a straight battle for his signature and cesc picked them over us then I would agree with your feelings towards cesc, but this isn't a straight battle - we have a clause in his transfer contract that gives us first refusal at a set fee, so if king dickhead decides to let him go play for a rival team, what is cesc to do ?? I would hate to see him play for one of our domestic rivals but if we reject him then as far as I'm concerned he can sign for any club he chooses (and that includes the chavs and the scum from the swamp)

I rated him highly when he was here but we do not need another small technically gifted midfielder. Javi Martinez is the one the nutty professor should be going for.
It doesn't matter either way as it looks like he's fucking off to Chelsea.
