The Scum Thread/Stadium Redevelopment

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Congrats AVB, the 29th manager to try and fail to deliver a league title to the shithole since 1961. And they're talking seriously about getting Klopp over on Glory-Glory. :coffeespit:

Tottenham, the gift that keeps on giving.

I would still like to see avb manage us  I feel that he did exceptionally well last season and then had his star player sold and was asked to integrate 6 new players into the team in record time and football doesnt work that way. I feel that he is a strong coach tactically and that is exactly what we need so bring him on I say 8)

Have to say, I will literally piss myself if they appoint capello - this is a guy whose english didnt improve one jot in all the time he was engerland manager and whose arrogance has gone off the charts in recent years

Watching ssn and the cl draw, Jamie "2-tight" rednapp was asked who do totnumb go for now as a manager, he said that they had practically tried every one including his dad and then having a dig at Daniel levy he said I think he would like to be manager himself

Seems though that levy does pick the players to buy and has an input in who plays, that will never work IMO so it doesn't matter who takes over, there just a puppet, much like presidents and prime ministers

"Last year he did well with the previous manager's team " says the previous manager's son on SSN.

Stupid decision imo but thus good for Arsenal.
They are deluded. They really are. They really think they should be in the top4.. I mean they are still 7th right? Same amout of points as 6th and three "easy" games to finish the first half of the season. And all that after changing the whole team. It's fucking Tottenham. What do they expect?

He got sacked by chavski for daring to stand up to the john terry mafia - he was employed by abramovich to "clean house" in there but when it came down to it, the Russian c*nt bottled it and sacked the manager instead

Lets look closer at his sacking with the scum - they currently sit just 8pts behind us having already played us and the chavs away and having drawn against manure. That gap is not huge by any means and all this is after we have had our best start to a season in years and they have had their worst start  Right now they are a mere 5pts off virtual trophy ecstasy and again I point to the fact that they are still trying to bed half a team in there - it kills me to even half defend them (although it is actually avb that I am defending) but the reality is that they have had some absolute stinkers this season but are still within touching distance of where they want to be

Crazy decision but the bloke's reputation is now running on fumes following today. He is a million miles from landing another top job in the PL. Maybe Swansea when the spuds take Laudrup is his new level to rebuild himself.
