As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Monreal and Bellerin had very good games, the OX not so good.
How the fuck they got a draw is unbelievable, the ref has got to be the worst ever.
Speaking to mates at the Arsenal today, is a very different view from the crap that's posted on here.
I was at the game and most people I spoke to were of similar opinion to those posted on here...people saying season over except for the FA cup, we'll struggle to finish top 4, no chance in league, no chance in CL, Wenger will never win against maureen, disgraceful state of defence and lack of DM, no tactics or direction most weeks, shit use of Ozil, why do we have so many injuries again etc etc etc.
To be fair I thought we played alright for half hour.....then it went to shit.
And yet, they'll happily renew this summer even with another 3% price hike for Kroenke's Slush fund eh?
Way to show that dissatisfaction at the state of affairs!
Personally I will always renew
as it's in my blood and what I love to do.
I have been on all the arranged marches/protests regarding the way the club is run. These have proved to have very little if any success due to poor turnouts. If half the people who sit at home and criticise and sneer on forums at people who try to do something actually turn up ... maybe things will change...who knows?
What would you suggest doing....as giving up doing something you love without a fight and moaning about it hasn't proved very successful has it?
And there, in a nutshell, is why this sorry Wengeresque farce will continue endlessly.
Other clubs' fans can do things but, of course "what can we do"? How on earth do other big clubs fans show their unhappiness and have managers sacked? Or maybe they should all follow our fans' apologist mantra "what can we do ".
The manager and team are the reflection of the fans in the ground, on the whole.
It's spineless.

Jesus, are you still banging that drum?
Some will renew, it's what they do, others won't, there's plenty of moany people in the ground, there's plenty of moany people who won't set foot in, the club ain't going anywhere or losing any income with any financial protests, sooner you get over that the sooner you can stop boring people to tears with the same arguments.
So, according to you, nothing can be done. Ever. How on earth do other club boards succumb to fan pressure then?
Why does it work at other clubs? What's so unique about Arsenal that makes it undoable?
Sorry that's a copout. If fans protested, properly, in the ground, or outside it better still, change would come.
Still. If you think putting money in Stan's pockets for. "Advisory fees" is the only method, power to you!

Unbelievable they got a draw? How many chances did we have second half?
Was a miracle we got a point because the only way we were going to score was by Sanchez skinning at least three or four players.
We gave up long before the end and only started trying again once we scored. Fucking spineless and my spunk has more tactical acumen than Wenger. They were fucking cruising out there and we looked like absolute mugs.
I thought Hull looked comfortable, they had us frustrated, our passing was sloppy, they only looked threatened when they dropped back for the final 10 minutes (including injury time).
Every time we lost possession, and give us time we always do, we looked likely to be caught.
How long did Ramsey take until he tried yet another risky blind back heel? 10 minutes?

Who fucking cares? Another utterly inept, dull, boring, tip tap shite performance to add to the many this season. A complete and utter borefest
This ^^^
Didn't see the game and haven't decided yet if I'm going to watch the highlights on motd because it seems to be just another stereotypical modern day Arsenal performance Maybe if I had watched the game live I might be angry right now, but because I didn't see how bad we seem to have been, I cant be arsed to give a fcuk
This is not My Arsenal. This is not the club that I love. This is a load of bollox with a business masquerading as a football club. Our owner and his puppet board will NEVER change the methods currently used in the club and the few proper shareholders we have are being silenced (although they are not doing enough to make this a big issue publicly). I don't give a fcuk whether some of you like or despise usmanov, but the bottom line is that he is the ONLY hope that things will change in the future cos people of his wealth are scarce and he seems to be the only one interested in us

So giving up and not going to see your team anymore isn't spineless? And where did I say "what can we do"? In fact I said I've been on the protests...what do you do other than sit at home slagging people off on the Internet?
Yes I will renew...doesn't mean I support the board or the manager...as you said other club supporters show dissent....but they don't do it from there front room do they?
As I said what do you suggest?
I know I'm not a fan as many of u r, byt since I wach Arsenal play 13 maybe 14 yeras now, last year and this years may be the worst futball i ever seen played by Arsenal...
When you watch Saints Citeh and The Chavs their desire to win and ruthlessness is just way above us at the moment, Without Alexis we would have no teeth at all, shameful defending. BFG must still have a WC hangover.

I've watched quite a few more than you & believe me the was some crap played in the 60's - but we still came back each week, paid our 'four bob' to get in & loved it. Oh to still be at Highbury !!. Bring back the "win bonus".

Did you learn nothing from the AGM, like it or not (and I dont) Wenger is the dictator there and the club do not think or care what the fans think which is why this club is so different to anyone else, Kroenke, can't be leaned on and protests will be unheard, the club will always make money and the ground will never be empty, everything else is just fantasy land coming out of your head.
The club has so much money that it doesn't need to listen to the supporters, we ain't Palace or Newcastle so they don't need to knee jerk and while we are shit now there will only be 3 teams that are better which means the club will always be happy even if the supporters are not.
looking at the highlights you realise why the players were half asleep at the start of the 2nd half - hardly any supporters had returned to their seats. this is one of the most frustrating things about going to watch the Arsenal these days, the late arrivals before the first and second half.
apparently in Dortmund they don't allow supporters to buy so much at half time and order fans back to the stands over tannoys for the start of each half

If that happened at The Emirates people would complain about their civil liberties being infringed. There was virtually nobody in club level or whatever it is called when Hull got their second. You see the same problem at wembley after half time.

The PL really is a pile of *****. Chelsea and City are so much better than everyone else its embarrassing
My only fear is Chelsea will match the invincibles..
Gunner Rob wrote:Silus - I am not going to criticise you for renewing.
After all the season ticket holders are the best supporters of the club.
BUT by renewing then you are Wenger and the boards biggest supporters whether you like it or not
Although I take the point that we are helping line their pockets it doesn't necessarily mean we support them. Stadiums all over the world would be half empty if people who didn't support the board/manager stopped going.
I think the only way change could be forced is by protests in the ground...For this to happen the "old school " support need to be inside. I think the crowd is very split but more and more are becoming disillusioned with the way things are. It seems a bit of a myth on here that everyone belts out "one arsene wenger" every week...it doesn't happen. I can only recall it being sung once at home last season (and not exactly deafening)...it seems to happen a bit more away...but I think that's more a case of sticking up for him rather than worshipping him.
I genuinely find it sad that a lot of decent fans have been forced out but I don't judge them on how they support the team or spend their money... I hope things change and they come back. I get pissed off with people digging out fellow Gooners who have been going for years, tar us with the same brush and think we are all AKBs....we aren't.
Other teams fans are against their board and manager (Geordies for example) and make their voices heard in the ground and aren't classed as some sort of judas for going in. The more of us that stop going the more the ground will be filled by tourists/day trippers/akbs/jcls and there will be even fewer voices of dissent....then things will have changed forever
