Montero had the beating of Chambers all game. His assist for the winner was inevitable.

Talking of inevitable... how many people predicted Swansea's big striker would pull on to Monreal to score a header? only difference is it was Gomis and not Bony. It's farcical we're in this oh so predictable situation.... but as I haven't managed 2000 games in football, so I guess I can't judge the buffoon

Wenger is a farce. 3 years of this shit to come.

AKB gold on BBC Live Text;
Rita, Northampton: Can't people get a grip? The arrogance of some fans - their team only has to turn up and they should win? Arsenal have injury problems and Swansea are a good side. Get over yourselves - it will come right at the end of the season.

Before today Swansea hadn't scored from a set piece, nor had they scored a single headed goal this season

Nacho Monreal - the gift that keeps on giving

If even Craig Bellamy and Carragher could see that something had to change with Chambers getting a roasting, why can't Wenger? Although plenty of hammering 'the club' etc and not much of slating Wenger.

Today cannot come as a surprise to anybody who watches us regularly. 1-0 up and we had 6 or 7 players wandering round in the final third, we lose the ball and they canter straight through the middle of the pitch with our DM nowhere to be found. And then sure enough our right flank where we got embarrassed all game gets raped again.

For all this mental strength bollocks, it's yet another capitulation and yet another occasion where we are losing and everyone is walking around. It summed things up when Flappy - who can't catch a cold under the slightest hint of pressure - wandering out 7 yards in a leisurely fashion to gather a late corner.

You just have to hope that it's going to contribute to a bigger picture, and we have plenty of games between now and January that we traditionally struggle in. But you just know at the back of your mind that we'll scrape a few results here and then and the likes of Spurs, United and Liverpool are so bad that we will still limp into 4th.

By "come right", Rita means we'll finish 3rd or 4th again. :| - and she's right of course, 10 years in a row of finishing 3rd or 4th is the stuff of dreams. Zzzzz.

We're going to be lower than 4th come January, so the good news for those that give a shit anymore about the Boreathon League, is that the wig wearing c u n t will for once come alive during the window and he's money making apprentice will suddenly find those players that haven't been available since the January when we signed Arshavin to rescue a top four finish

Wenger will panic buy and spend £40m on defenders and in February and March he'll be hailed a genius when we swot aside QPR, Leicester, Newcastle, West Ham and Palace on the way to a dash for the line for the glory of fourth

Then in the Summer.......he'll spend BIG

"We lost some important challenges in the middle of the park and that's where we lost the game"

Fuck all to do with having a left back playing at centre half then ?

Arsenal boss Arsene Wenger, speaking to Sky Sports: "It is difficult to explain how we lost the lead. We were in control but they did not give up and we lost some decisive challenges in the middle of the park and we paid for that. That is where we lost the battle.
"We were not in too much trouble, we had the best chances, it is a place that is always tight and it was a very tactical game.
"I worry that we concede the goals, yes. At the moment we have different worries than that [the gap between Arsenal and Chelsea]. We just lost a game that we feel we should not have lost. You have to win the games you can win and today was one. If you want to challenge for the Premier League you have to be a bit more realistic."
Difficult to explain?! I haven't worked a day in football and I can fucking explain it you twat. It was a very tactical game? Not from you it wasn't!

I cant see us finishing top four, we have always been shit against the top sides, but this season we cant even beat the shit teams. Not that this will have any impact on Wenger's future, as Wenger is a yes man for the board, so any new appointment might have the crazy idea of looking for serious investment so that we can properly challenge for the title.

He looks a beaten man - why he hasn't got the guts and self respect to walk away when all he is doing is continue to fail
