As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
Them being bottom of the league isn't the issue. They beat the scum a few games ago, and games against the teams fighting for their lives can often be tough. My issue was the total lack of organisation and spirit in the side. Ball retention was awful (bar Ozil mostly, who I thought was the best player on the pitch) but defensively we were all over the place at times.
The performance yesterday was as bad as I've seen us at home for a long while (if we discount Hull at home, but we had a lot of the ball in that, this one we didn't have anything)
A wins a win, and United have shown this year that playing terrible but getting the result is a handy way of finishing top 4.
I hope, the past two games are just a poor blip in what has been a good response from Southampton. I hope, but I shouldn't be hoping.

it is only when you get up close to the players though do you realise how little effort our lot put in.
I dont believe there was even an attempt at a game plan last night. I imagine Wenger just said to them go out and play your stuff and at half time probably said keep going.
Wenger says this to them for every game...that's one of the reasons why we're like we are.
