I know that the opening games in tournaments are usually tame affairs, but f.uck me that was some load of garbage If that is going to be the taster of what lies ahead, then these championships could be the worst ever

I realise that there will be a lot of pressure on the france team (home crowd, racism accusations, terrorist threats etc), but that team does not look anywhere near a good team - for starters there seems to be no balance and deschamps seems to have picked the best available 11 rather than the best team. Griezeman is a striker and a bloody good one at that, so marooning him out on the wing makes no sense. Matuidi and pogba seem to be doing the same job and after seeing the guy play a handful of games in the past year, I still fail to see how pogba is valued as anything north of £40m To a man their defence looks shaky, and kos did not seem like the player he is when playing for us.
Obviously home support will count for a lot and they have some very good players, but I don't really see them as winners

I must admit I'm in sids camp here , if I'm drinking with good trustworthy mates enjoying the atmosphere
And some arswhole starts on our happy group ( Bering in mind the culture and religion gaps ) and the English have
A very distinctive sense of humer , we would and have in the past ran towards rather than away from trouble , it
Also happens at local level , in pub with family and friends if sons or in fact me get into trouble weather that trouble

It's funny cos the question I always ask is why don't the English fans police themselves more ? We all know that the vast majority are there for the football and want to enjoy the craic peacefully, but why do they stand back and do nothing when those dickhead hooligans (for want of a better word) drag all the English fans down with them ?
