Re: Euro 2024
Sesko looks shit!
Proper havertz type miss a 1 on 1.
As for klive he did hard things well the other day but could never finish. When it was easier to score than miss.

Just watched France v Belgium on delay.
Lucacku was Big Willy's bitch all night. In fact Willy was superb I thought.
And it makes me uneasy.
Not only is he big enough and strong enough to easily handle Lucacku, he also has a footballing brain and reads the game well, can tackle, can pass and plays decent football for a centre back and is young.
There are very, very few defenders around like that and I can easily see the Madrid bastards offering world record money for him.
I hope I'm wrong but I don't think his performances in the Euros will go unnoticed.

So glad we didn't buy that Sesko.
Portugal v Slovenia was a great game to watch. Ladyboy missed a pen late in extra time but scored the first one in the shoot out. Costa saved all three of Slovenia's penalties. Portugal played some nice football but couldn't finish.
The drama from Ronaldo was worth the admission fee.

Don't know why Sesko didn't just chip him on that last effort. Costa was a mile off his line.Midz wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 10:05 pmSo glad we didn't buy that Sesko.

Sesko didn't show he had any clutch; but he is only 21 I guess.

Yep, I was thinking this all last season, but it will stand out even more at the Euros. A player like him will be sought after by all the big boys, with RM the number one predators and he won't hang about in a team that doesn't win league titles or CLs. Worrying.

I wsan't impressed with Sesko in the first game I watched him in, but said it wasn't really fair to judge a bloke on one game. However, as you say, he was very poor yesterday and the one on one miss was indeed proper Havertz....who was crap for Germany against the Danes.

Re: Euro 2024
Definitely worrying. Saliba was our best player last season by a long shot. He has everything in his game and I'd be amazed if the Madrid bastards don't come curb crawling around looking for him.Nick Nack wrote: ↑Mon Jul 01, 2024 9:35 pmJust watched France v Belgium on delay.
