WALCOTT - which position is best etc?

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Theo Walcott is a world record holder.
He successfully controlled a ball dropped from 34 metres at the training ground this week - keeping the ball up for five touches to set a new official mark.
It’s no mean feat and, although Arsène Wenger was otherwise engaged when Theo was making history, he’s impressed.
“It doesn’t surprise me,” said the boss. “It was not necessarily what I expected him to be a world record holder for, but it’s true that to take the ball from the crane and to beat the distance and all these super skilful players, you need a super touch.
“I didn’t see it, but I think you need to do five touches [to get the world record] so it’s absolutely great.
“Theo has a great focus capacity too and of course he is more known for his pace, for the quality of his runs and the quality of his finishing and less for the technical skill, so it shows that he has that as well in his locker.”
:blah: :blah: :blah:
What a total load of rubbish bullshit. Which player is he watching each week ??. This is not our crap 'Boy Wonder'. :barscarf: :barscarf:
