As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

Balotelli isn't coming

When's the re-opening of the Summer transfer window thread coming ?
I really really hope Balotelli isn't coming to The Arsenal. Ever. He is basically FrimpSong with a bit more footballing talent, roughly the same level of stupidity, but a lot more capability to disrupt a team. A geebag, if you will. :x

Don't worry lads.......this Summer he will spend BIG ! Make sure you renew your ST's - you wouldn't want to miss all these world class players joining us

Atletico Madrid striker Diego Costa, 25, Manchester City forward Edin Dzeko, 27, and Bayern Munich's Mario Mandzukic, 27, are three players on Arsene Wenger's wishlist as he looks to bring world-class players to Emirates Stadium.

Full Story: Daily Mail

Until ST renewal date passes.......all the best players in the world are coming

I had a dream last week that Cashley returned to Arsenal and then I read this:
http://www.independent.co.uk/sport/foot ... 09192.html

I suspect it won't happen.

It does seem to me the transfer speculation now the January window has closed is a lot more entertaining!

Let's hear it for the new Vieira :barscarf:

In other exciting news we can look forward to Djourou returning next season if Hannover decide not to buy him :barscarf: :barscarf:

Wow. Pique is another nearly signing:

"I remember that first of all Arsenal were interested in me and I had a meeting with Arsène Wenger. I was close to going to Arsenal but the year before Cesc Fabregas went there and Arsenal and Barcelona were in a little fight and they didn’t want to do the same with me. Manchester United came in and finally I went there."

Saw something similar myself but I think it had been converted to AUD so approx 130m pounds. Can't remember where I saw it either, but remember thinking 'yeah, right. This summer he'll spend big! ' :D

We have £120m cash in the bank according to the financial figures released last week. That is probably where the number came from. However we would never spend all of it and AW never comes close to spending what we have.

Why do you think that is? Afraid to put his reputation on the line? A better example of ''fear of failure'' than the one Wenger was talking about a few days ago.

As no doubt his reluctance to test himself at Real Madrid was. Conveniently dressed up as his loyalty to Arsenal of course
