It isn't so much about him being younger or in front of Sagna for France, the French manager may not have made the best selection - that is an argument many French Fans are or rather were having, for now the jury is out on whom is better between the two players - some might say they're on par - which if true means that wenger is failing in his job (again) - Wenger should be looking to "improve" the team (in all areas) and so he should be looking to buy a player who is both younger and better than Sagna - which means spending proper money - wnger always seems to be doing his buying at Lidl instead of John Lewis or Harrod's - which is where chavscum & $hitty do their shopping...The argument has been that we haven't had the financial clout because of the cost of the new stadium - but that little excuse is now gone and yet wenger continues in his supermarket trolley dash.....Ozil was an enforced buy - the board 'made' him buy the player...wenger must have had sleepless nights after seeing £40+ Million go out of the Arsenal bank account.

We MUST buy Sanchez - and that means not f*cking about making derisory offers - like he did with suarez - THAT was just embarrassing.

Oh yes...one more thing

WENGER OUT!
To me the Sagna comparison is kind of irrelevant. He has gone for massive wages and I wouldn't have wanted us to match them as I think he has been poor for a couple of years and was time for a change for all parties.

So then it's all about a replacement. The only name that keeps cropping up is Coleman but I don't think he would have been worth the money required to get him from Everton (as I said my opinion..others disagree). After that I'm struggling for options and think an international (with a decent national side) with prem experience isn't a bad way to go.

If he turns out to be shit I shall join in the moaning though

Sanchez plus a couple more top signings would be good :barscarf:
Good!!?? Sanchez would be Brilliant! - But we also still need a Defensive Mid-fielder BADLY! - Arteta is (sadly) now waaaaay too slow and doesn't have the legs or sharp mind any more - Flams - love the guy! - But, he is too wreckless - we need a Mid-fielder with skill, vision and can both tackle/hold mid-field, marshall the troops and set up counter- attacks ...Now who could possibly fit that bill? uhm :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin: :rubchin:

Costa Rica striker Joel Campbell has the chance to further prove to Arsene Wenger on Saturday that he is worthy of a place in Arsenal's squad next season.
But Wenger is set to farm Campbell out on loan again. Campbell, 22, spent last season in Greece playing for Olympiakos.
But Wenger is more inclined to loan Campbell to a Premier League club - at least until January - this season. West Ham, Everton, Southampton and Newcastle are all interested.

Edit. Newcastle accepted £7.9m bid for Debauchery. Not ten or eleven mil as mooted.

Arsenal ‘eye Greek defender Kostas Manolas as Thomas Vermaelen replacement’
The 6’1” centre back has enjoyed a superb season with Olympiacos and earned plenty of plaudits during the World Cup for his dominant performances.

He is rated at about £8million but Arsenal would face competition from Juventus for his signature with the Italian side known to be keen.
