I had thought we were in for Mahrez when we went for Vardy. Just rumours, I guess.

Yet another midfielder... excellent...

You can bet your life that if we sign him, he'd be told to never shoot :banghead:

Just saw Mahrez' goal against Celtic. That direct run and shot has ended any chance of him joining us..

Ahh....but he's just what we've been waiting for in our 'nearly signed' XI. Pogba and Mahrez the ready made replacements for Yaya Toure and Ronaldo in our virtual line up. Its like a conveyor belt of talent our 'nearly signed' squad

What's with the physique thing, most of our players are smaller than Mahrez especially in midfield.
And those "one season wonders" (Kante, Mahrez, Vardy) did the one thing that Arsenal haven't done for 12 years - won the bloody league!

"PFA Player of the Year and Premier League champion Riyad Mahrez has made up his mind to join Arsenal.

That is according to French Eurosport, who say Arsenal met with Mahrez's agent while they were in Lens for yesterday's friendly.

Leicester manager Claudio Ranieri has publicly claimed Mahrez will stay at the King Power Stadium, but it now seems that may not be the case.

The clubs are reportedly set to agree a fee in the region of £42million"" :blah: :blah: :blah:

I love the way it says were 'plotting ' the transfers. Much in the same way that I'm plotting having a host of bikini models suck my knob off each night for the next few months.

Pogba for £100m o.n.o and Higuain going for £79m?

 :suicide:

Won't someone save us from these (actual) dizzying prices?

If this actually somehow happened it would have been our best Summer in a decade. What do you give it, 5% chance?

Could it not be argued that Ramsey has been a one season wonder for us?

Certainly could. But his form in the Euros may suggest playing to his strengths in a proper system (I know, it's Arsene's Arsenal we live in) he is a good player..Ramsey himself has a lot to answer for, he got carried away with his great season..
