I also remember a good article a few months back on him, he is a very "proud Argentinian" if you get my drift, the English arn't exactly his favorite people........

Shame eh, he seems exactly what we need - but his crowd pumping antics might not be so successful in the souless bowl!
You sank my battleship.
Gotcha!

I hope Diego Simeone's not reading this.

Deep down, it must be eating Wenger up inside that the plaudits he believed would come his way for beating the "oil money" clubs are going to go to Ranieri (a joke figure who couldn't beat the Faroe Islands) or Pochettino (a man who is only in his third full PL season).

The inevitability of it all really doesn't take the hurt away from me. I'm truly depressed that we have this arsepiece for another season. I just want to enjoy being an Arsenal fan again.

Sure there's been many names bandied about by supporters who'd like so n so to be the next manager but the board we have at present are more than likely to bring in someone who is worse than Wenger.
Remember the Bruce Rioch appointment?

I think i'd like another less heard of character (like Wenger was at the time) who has a good vision and is able to sort through the chaff in our squad and with the desire to bring in the necessary players where needed.
Bergkamp came too; whether or not the deal was already tied up is open to debate.

So:

Allardyce comes in and we sign Messi? One year later Allardyce gets the boot.

That'll do.

Recently, we had Roberto Martinez in the media talking about what an outstanding manager Lord A-Hole was. That should have told you everything, an endorsement from Martinez is like a medical referral from Harold Shipman
Martinez has just been thrashed by Liverpool and here's some key stats:

Liverpool had 42 attempts on goal
That's more attempts than Arsenal have managed in their past NINE PL matches put together.

Liverpool had 15 shots on target. That's more attempts than Wenker has managed for us in the last 3 PL matches.

Martinez is massively underachieving with a squad of very good players and cannot organise a team defensively. No idea of tactics and deluded about how he reads the game.

Stark contrast to Klopp. Yet again, just like Bournemouth last week he made several changes and rested several players. They've scored 6 and conceded none in their last 2 games and managed over FIFTY goal attempts in these two games!
When Wenker makes a few changes, our fans just "accept" getting tanked 3-0 by Sheffield Wednesday

That's with a European semi chucked in.
Please remember that here's a manager that ain't signed a single player and has managed to turn donkeys like Origi, Lovren and Joe Allen into very good performers. Everyone works hard.

So on one side we have mini-me Wenker, Bobby Martinez. Everton are owned by a ruthless businessman who backed Martinez publicly just 3 weeks ago. Yet we all know on here that Everton fans won't lie down and claim "fan pressure will do nothing what can we do"

They WILL protest next game at Goodison and their very own mini-Wenker will be toast.

LVG has been the laughing stock of English football: loathed by ManYoo fans, loved by everyone who likes to laugh at ManYoo.

That very same laughing stock, is now just a single point behind Arsene Wenker.

Time to wheel out the "money spent" excuse.

Oh wait can't do that AKBs...As Lord A-hole was talking about how Leicester prove money means sod all!

I have gone on record in the past as saying that I like Martinez as a manager, but to say that they are underperforming is a massive understatement when you look at the quality of their squad. There def is culpability on Martinez's side, but there is also blame on the players side as they don't seem to give a f.uck  I will still refer back to the disgraceful comments by lukaku a few weeks back when he told the world that he wants out of there - just a couple of weeks before an fa cup semi is not the time to come out and destabilise the team, and it stank of another greedy cuntbag player only concerned with himself and not his team

I don't think that even winning the cup will save Martinez now :(

But Mark Lawrenson thinks they should be careful what they wish for.

"Alright, they haven't won the league for the while but be careful what you wish for!" he said on 5 live Sport.

"I do think Wenger's earned the right to decide when he leaves. He'll know when to go."

:coffeespit:

Tbf to Lawro if I was a Liverpool fan I'd defo be wanting Le Cock to remain too.
Careful what you wish for...Yup, Lawro told Leicester fans the same thing after Pearson was sacked last summer. How did that work out again?

Wenger: "I'll remind you if we win on Thursday we are 3rd in the league. If you look at last 140 years at this club, that's not a shame."

It is up to every fan at the WBA game to rain vitriolic, venomous abuse upon Wenger. Regardless of the result, just Hurl sustained abuse at the *word censored*!

The boss says fitness and organisation of visiting teams has made it harder to win at home.

That McDowell quote is in this article. I urge you to read this it's excellent. The journos after 12 years, are openly declaring he has to go and that everyone has had it. They've exactly described the stasis, Kroenke's lack of ambition and Wenker's repulsive arrogance.

Great article and what happens when you don't get Amy Lawrence writing sycophantic love letters

This bloke just wont have anyone question on his future or position. Like a defensive 3 year old. When asked if he will leave at the end of the season, snaps words to the effect " i do not want to come back on that, i always respect my contract" yeah all 8 million quid of it!! Pity he doesnt respect fuck all else. Asked again snaps " I have answered that question" what a dick!

Or maybe we just cant score or hold a lead.

Again, I dont know why he so confident in his opinions. Everything he says, in his mind must be true because its his analysis.

So not only do our opponents have game plans, they are also fit and organised... how can we compete with such unsporting behaviour?
