Le C.unt has clearly been following the US Presidency campaign too closely as he's morphed into a French Donald Trump. Seriously think about it:

* Clueless outlandish statements made frequently
* Said statements are easily disproved with facts
* Anyone pointing out his ineptitude is confronted with patronising condescending bully-boy tactics
* An arrogance beyond belief that's a self-parody
* The more he's questioned the more outrageous he becomes and doubles-down

I'm actually delighted he's done this. It's a square kick in the balls to the collection of plankton following this club who claim

"He's a man of such integrity"
"I want him to leave with his head held high"
"He's a man of class"

The same kind of clueless jokers who talk down the prospect of Simeone managing us, the same gormless sheep who sit in the stadium in silence as they are "there to enjoy the day" and "expect nothing" v Barca. The same kind of bleating sheep who will vigorously defend shite like Giroud. Still, he "carried us" this season eh?

Artless, condescending, arrogant arse hole. His "built the club" comments should have had our fans giving him unprecedented abuse the next game. Instead? Silence and muted applause.

I don't think he's getting away with this one though. Although it wouldn't surprise me if Red Action had another love-parade march planned in which they burn effigies of the fans

First he blamed oil money.
Then he blamed "austerity" intimating we had to sell players or "go extinct" (conveniently ignoring a wage bill that increased year on year at a rate of over 20%)
Then he blamed FFP
Then he blamed injuries
Then he blamed other teams tapping up our best players
Then he blamed the transfer market for not having enough players if quality

Now he's blamed the fans.

BRILLIANT

All this time I have been dreaming about the treble what with the Community Shield in the bag and looking well placed to win the Expected Goals Trophy and our now customary Virtual 4th Place Trophy.......little did I know that the quadruple was still possible as we close in on the Away From Home Champions trophy too.

I hope there's enough room on the hoardings around club level to show off our glittering array of trophies

Great post mate!

One of the most laughable things was him responding to criticism from ex players by claiming his current team has more character :D .

Firstly, it is some of these players that he owes a great deal to for the success he had at the club. And if he also means the likes of Alan Smith, I'd like to see how Giroud & co would have coped with a game like Anfield 89. As they havent spent even 1 day top of the table during April or May since 2004 we will never know.

Looks like we cant retain our Calender year champions trophy, but top 4 in this is still quite an achievement.

I think that depends on the fans and players reaction tomorrow - many AKB's are praising that presser for Wonga's intelligence and honesty.

I think he's hanging on by a thread, but if we go 2-0 up in the first ten minutes the 12minute thing will likely fizzle out.

if I remember rightly a home win in 2014 saved him after two bad losses (Swansea and united ?) .

I think he's here another year sadly. :cussing:

At the risk of dividing the anti-Wenger consensus over politics, I would suggest that there is a strong analogy with the EU referendum debate.

Remain are running a campaign based purely on fear of change , ie if we leave things could well get worse

Leave are saying ok we recognise if we change things may be a little uncertain initially, but by making the leap of faith we will be much stronger and better off in the long run.

Vote WEXIT - you know it makes sense!

Republicans claimed Trump wouldn't survive the first round of the primary.
He's now odds-on for the nomination

Trying to be rational and reasonable towards the man but i am finding it difficult to outweigh the 8 early years of success we had under him to the last 12 years of disappointment.

I am absolutely furious at what he has stated today about the fans being responsible and i hope he gets exactly what he deserves on Sunday, there is no excuse for his behaviour recently and he needs to accept responsibility for his actions and not blame the fans.
Why bother? Wenger certainly is neither rational nor reasonable now; that ship not only sailed long ago, but promptly sank today after his desperate digs at the proles who put money in his pocket.

He’s gone from holding us in thinly-veiled contempt to openly mugging us off; as if his decade-plus of abject failure is somehow our fault. It would be funny if it weren’t so pathetically small-minded.

He was a man who once commanded almost universal respect, now he’s just a bitter cùnt desperately clinging onto his golden goose.

Wenger is the luckiest manager in football history – after a failed youth experiment with Monaco, he legged it to Japanonly to be brought back to manage the best back five in English football, supported by Keown, Bergkamp and Parlour; and then he had the first pick of the greatest generation of French players ever, who not only drove us to titles, but more went on to Chelsea – Desailly, Le Beouf, Gallas and Deschamps, and won them titles too.

As soon as those players went, we won nothing. we did get another failed youth experiment like Monaco though. fact.

As much as (if I'm in the right mood) the Wenger circus is non-stop fun...

(on Kroenke) "'He has never stopped me in the transfer market. He is very ambitious, we all are.'

Stopped you...? :coffeespit: from doing what again on the transfer market? ambitious?

...he is also turning the club into a laughing stock.

Ok so if Stan never stopped AW, who did?

He has basically just admitted it was his choice to buy or not buy as and when :censored: :censored: :censored:

Its commonly known Wenger always had money. Even Dein admitted about the 30mil pa that Wenger lied about (and is still claiming poverty).

Kroenke has never refused or held back transfer money from Wenger. Never. Wenger is just too much of a snivelling coward to put his neck on the line and spend on top class players, prefering to fritter millions away quietly on the wages of average nobodys or prospects
