Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Right, firstly Wanker, just fucking shut up. He's always been a mouthy *word censored* and just doesn't know when to let something go. It's yet again, all about him. Me, me, me, look what I did, look what I turned down, me, all me. Secondly, the funding for the stadium was pathetic if it meant crippling debt for a decade. Why wasn't it funded through a share issue or private investment sought? Thirdly, he could have come out at any stage and told an ounce of truth about spending, finances and not being able to compete with the world's top clubs. It was all a pack of lies. Next, staying at Arsenal with no pressure on huge money and living in London was hardly hardship, was it, you *word censored*. It wasn't like you turned down Real Madrid to treat AIDS patients in The Congo or help out in a refugee camp in Sudan was it? You got paid a fucking fortune to do what you wanted for all those years with no pressure until recently. Quite frankly, it's your choices which have led you here. Explain why you mislead the fans, why you refuse to spend on world-class players, why the same mistakes happen again and again under your management? If you had done such a great service to Arsenal FC, why didn't you use that power to ask for more money to compete, to find new investment, to challenge and compete? Why? Because you were complicit in the whole thing. You wanted this to happen, you wanted to find a reason for an ego-driven quest which would have seen you sacked in a season elsewhere. Tell me honestly, at Real or at City, do you honestly think they would stand for your shit? It's pathetic and nauseating now, it's excuse after excuse and we've had enough. Just do everyone a favour, including yourself and go.

Very worrying words, when he states in a project, something he intends to see to the finish....tell you what he aint going unless he is forced outClash wrote:foxinthebox2001 wrote:The truth!

Real wanted instant success, Wenger wanted a long term plan to work with their youth team, and not spend on galacticos.
Just imagine they could be scrapping for 4th spot now, and have £160m in the bank if they had played their cards right,
The words from that article make me want to smash his face in.
[/b]"I want to have success by building a team with a style, with a know-how, with a culture of play specific to the club and its fans and with young people. That is what I have chosen in my career and want to ensure I continue here at Arsenal.
"I am in a construction project with a young team but my intention is to take that project to the ultimate end. For me, pleasure comes from watching those players showing the football I like to see played.
It's all about him, what he wants, what he has chosen.
Long standing fans are just expected to go along with that but for what reason? The personal whims of one man who isn't really a football man in the classic sense at all. He is actually a fucking weirdo if we are honest.
We've known for years, Wenger has used Arsenal FC as his pet project but when you see him talk like that it is sickening. Especially when years later he excuses his failure by blatanly lying when claiming he was forced to sell his best players.
Who was he forced to sell? Fabregas chose to go ... as did Hleb, Nasri, Adebayor, Sagna and RvP
What a despicable fraud Wenger is.

“When we built the stadium the banks demanded I signed for five years,” he said. “I did it. Do you want me to tell you how many clubs I turned down during that period? I have shown I am committed.”
Oh now I see how HE did it. It was a £260m unsecured personal loan taken out over 5 years.

"We lost the championship at home against the lower teams" - The lying toe rag than follows this up with his reason for for that....
"We played sometimes at home in a very difficult climate" - WHAT "Difficult Climate" you lying despot...Nowhere near as difficult and uncomfortable as it is going to get and how it shall be from now on..
A desperate man.....clutching at the rapidly thinning straws of excuses...as he begins to realise his £8.3 million a year and all the power and prestige he has had (and abused) is in jeopardy.
WENGER GET OUT NOW!

The scum of PH wood & Co - who having said 'they don't want his sort here' Well that is till he waves that Huge Cheque Book in their faces and the the ole $ signs start spinning in their eyes...so they ended up selling their shares to wiggycunt....and now look he sits back and let's his profits grow....we may as well have gone with Usmanov - with all his alleged dark & criminal activities - at least he would have poured plenty of money in and if necessary got shot of Le Fraud.

The manager is totally out of touch with the fans and he has been for many years.
He would of made a great politician always deflecting any questioning of his management or results onto someone or something else.
The building of the concrete bowl now down to him staying to secure the loans takes the pis*.All the while being one of the highest paid managers in the world...... under no pressure to win anything! He is deluded as sadly is a part of our fan base

Just alienating those who have already lost patience with him. More of this "I built the club" rubbish. Blaming our home fans - apparently away from home we are championship winners (despite taking 7 points fewer than Leicester having played more games). He's kept his quiet for a few weeks but now his ego has gotten the better of him and he can't resist sneering at his detractors.
Top story on BBC - only thing making today's game worth watching.

I have an image in my mind of a group of well dressed. City bankers singing " We want you to stay, we want you to stay. Arsene Wenger we want you to stay "xisstential wrote:“When we built the stadium the banks demanded I signed for five years,” he said. “I did it. Rambling through Twitter there seems to be an appetite for the change protest.. Still a few Wenger loyalists as expected. One genius accuses the disenchanted fans of "having a sense of entitlement"

We know that AW has spouted bollocks for years, but it's starting to sound a bit desperate. Daily he's coming out with crap that just antagonises the fans more. Is he finally feeling the pressure?
Fans need to keep it up.
Every nonsense remark needs to be challenged. I don't think abuse will do it, but logic and ridicule might have an affect.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
he is sounding so desperate now, this thing about staying for 5 years whilst we moved to the emirates bollox, yeah great thankyou for that we all appreciate that but it isn't a league title 10 years on is it,its all in the past, what desperate shit is he gonna spout next? that he helped an old lady across the road back in 1999 and because of that he deserves to stay, fuck me talk about clutching at straws, the bloke is vile, like somebody mentioned hed have us believe it was either him or oblivion for us,FFS we are The Arsenal, its beyond a joke this shit

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
To be fair to the old bugger, he did only take £30-35 million in wages out of the club in the - 'guaranteed 5 years of employment whilst i go on an ego trip anything Ferguson can do with youth I can do better and I'm under no pressure whatsoever unlike if I'd taken one of the many high pressure demanding jobs at a club with ambition I'd have been out on my arse within 9 months type situation' -
whilst reminding us regularly about how cash strapped we were.
I mean, give the guy a break, he built the club on his Tod.

Re: THE WENGER THREAD
Wenger's chief ass licker John Cross is in ultra defend Wenger mode. He has said today that "respect is a two way street". In other words, Wenger can say what he likes to the fans, but we aren't entitled to anything but positive opinions of him. From his piece of shit book to His ridiculous defences of Wenger. This cuunt deserves just as much abuse as Wenger gets.
