I'm just saying we'd be as well getting champions league football than not, and I just don't want us missing out on it right at the end. The team were distracted today and played absolute gash, no one can argue against that :(
Errr in case you haven't noticed the team have been playing absolute gash since Christmas. If you think today's demo is responsible for all our woes you're as deluded as the fraudulent fuckwit masquerading as our "manager".
Not all our woes dude. The manager is responsible for not Winning us the league this season and I don't have a problem with anyone protesting against him if they wish. HOWEVER, these protests may harm us in the chase for top 4 which I think we may as well have than not have. Just think the protesting fans can wait to protest when it won't damage the team :?

We "almost never won today" because we couldn't muster a single shot on target in the first half, at home, against a side who themselves have been fucked three-nil at home by fellow relegation strugglers Sunderland.

As for the Champions League; who gives a fuck about a competition we'll never, ever win with this has-been in charge?
Even if we never win it with him in charge, at least the money it brings will be there for the next manager to spend tho surely? :?

We're gonna be so far behind everyone by then we will need an awful lot of it.
Then we'll have the incredibly difficult job of convincing anyone of coming to what will, by then, be a laughing stock of a club in the eyes of anyone remotely decent or ambitious.

Hmmm so you're saying the protest was shit ... but it was still bad enough to distract the little flowers from performing?

Was probably more the media build up than the protest itself tbh

Whaaa??

I think you may be lost in your own little world so I'll leave you to it. Enjoy the never ending mediocrity you so clearly desire as ODL inevitably gets his oh so deserved 3 year contract extension.
Roll on never ending top 4 finishes and last 16 CL eliminations :barscarf: :barscarf: ooh to be a, ooh to be a gooner :barscarf: :hail:

Now we have Giroud the lion heart taking a leaf out of Wenger's book, by challenging the fans who rightly question him. I dont know why though, his goalless streak stretched to 15 league games (with 1 in the last 20 in all competitions). Im guessing he feels his knockdown header, for which he was unchallenged seem to vindicate himself.

I fuking said this would happen, I said the moment Giroud scored (or assisted) he would act like he has overcome some major obstacle and would milk it for all his worth.

What kind of loser tries to antagonize his own fans after offering a pretty routine assist. Especially when the criticism in the first placed is rooted in the fact that as out first choice striker at the start of the year, he has failed to score a goal in 15 straight league games which has massively contributed to our failed title challenge.

This is why we are shit. We have players who do something so small - yet think they have climbed Mount Everest. Wally Walcott is another, we beat some minnow team and it 'sends a message'.

Is this Giroud's retribution is it? Does he think this has 'silenced the critics'.

Our manager and some of our players are so piss weak, and they have no idea how average they are.

Probably repeating what has already been said but someone needs to ask Wenger and his apologists how a nervous 1-0 win against a virtually relegated team vindicates 10 years of criminal mis- management?
The problem, in hindsight, with the protest yesterday is that either way the manager was going to win? Win the game equals critics answered, lose the game equals critics blamed.
Watching on TV yesterday the reaction to the 12th minute protest from the apologists and disciples was as deflating as losing big games in the era when we were competitive.
I half watched the rest of the game, not caring what happened. Ashamadely half hoping Norwich would score. Like our season (and seasons) I felt yesterday was an opportunity missed.
Armchair is correct in saying the point of the protest was lost by the involvement of the Supporters groups. The message on the posters wasn't hard hitting enough. I am not advocating abuse but the posters hit out at the mailse in the club rather than target the two (narrow it to two Ivan The Puppet doesn't count) men who have caused and developed it.
Everything about Giroud was pathetic yesterday and that sums up the manager..Welbeck may not be the world class striker we need but he is, in terms of effort and ability, much better than Ollie.
Yet to prove a point Giroud starts the game and finishes it. All because a stubborn man cannot be wrong.
What does a nervous win against a virtually relegated team prove?. To anyone with intelligence it proves how far Arsenal are from the challenge but to far too many it seems to prove that indeed the manager is right..I despair for Arsenal

Had to laugh at the Sky interview. First question was along the lines of "Giroud assisting Welbeck... What a wonderful substitution surely?"

Few more generic questions and then carefully broached the protest emphasising how "minor" it was.

What is Sky's obsession with him?

Not going to resort to abuse :D

But Champions League are you really sure about that? just to qualify for the last 16 and get humiliated by better sides, i find it painful to watch
I don't want my team put through that without organisation and fight, hate to say it but Leicester and scum will put up a better show than us

This qualifying every year is solely a cash revenue income, Krone has publicly stated he is not in it for titles just a legacy for his sons
We are going nowhere under Wenger

Those people in the Sky studio are morons. The clown hosting said after that thrilling 1-0 win against relegation fodder, "Surely that should silence the unhappy fans"??? How I wish Souness had been there.

I feel like crying I really do. I was hoping, praying actually that Norwich would equalise, I have been hoping for years & years we would lose out on CL. It's the only thing this doddering old PRICK has to cling to. Kroenke has been convinced by this old fraud that nothing in football is more important than CL qualification. What is going to happen to us now??? How can seemingly reasonable people look at a television and feel unbridled hatred for people they have never even met??....... people like Wenger, Giroud, Ramsey, Walcott, (especially the first 2)... how did it get to this?? Wenger has a lot to answer for, he's destroyed the soul of a football club and turned decent people into a foaming at the mouth mob. Plain & Simple
