As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.
"The only thing I don't doubt is my sincere commitment to this club. I am sorry that I cannot keep 100 percent happy but maybe that is because we have been remarkably consistent".
Even on the rare occasion Wenger says the word ''sorry'' he just has to follow it up with a '' but ... [insert something repetitive and annoying] '' which renders the ''sorry'' completely meaningless and insincere.
An utterly despicable man.
He's not sorry, not at all, he has nothing to be sorry for. This is actually what he's saying... he has done a superlative job and has given his life for us and the club, made huge personal sacrifices.... but some people will never be happy, there is just no pleasing some people. But he is an understanding man, an avuncular figure, full of love and forgiveness for those of us who don't realise how lucky we are, those of us who always want more & more & more..... .
I'm not kidding either, the guy is a borderline sociopath..

We must be virtual champions because of it, surely!
We must be the expected goals champions as well. Added to the away champions trophy, the last 16 CL trophy and 3rd or 4th place trophy it's a golden era!

The virtual trophy cabinet won't cope with it all.
The more I see that 12 years 9 months poster the less simplistic it appears. Its actually bang on and if Wenger saw it it would undoubtedly infurate him no end as it effectively makes mockery of his Top 4 "successses".
A few thousand of those would have said a lot more than "Time for a change".
Its cutting and to the point - Ranieiri achieved in nine months with his team of highly commited averagely talented players what you failed to achieve in 12 years with your teams of technically impressive overpaid mollycoddled losers. There is no excuse whatsoever for a team of Arsenal's financial resources to not be properly challenging for the title with three games still to play, let alone four or five. No excuses whatsoever. The odd crap seaons every three or four? Fine. But not season after season.
The team we became invincibles against in 04 managed by the manager who masterminded our exit from that years champs lge(as good an oppertunity as 06 imo) have become champions tonight.Well done Leicester City and Claudio Ranieri and fuck off le bumhole

interesting point!
Even more hard to imagine if you'd been told it would happen with Wenger still being manager.
Anyone remember 2 or 3 years after we moved to the Emirates, Wenger comparing how we had done to the other teams that had moved stadiums ?
He mentioned how they'd struggled and all been relegated ... whereas Arsenal, thanks to his miraculous work obviously, had remained in the top 4.
Many people lapped it up. What they conveniently forgot to acknowledge was that the teams Wenger was talking about were teams that were historically relegated on a regular basis.
In other words the stadium moved hadnt had an adverse effect on them in the way Wenger wanted people to think it had.
The teams Wenger was referring to were: Derby, Middlesboro', Sunderland ... oh and errr .... LEICESTER!
Leicester win the league with a wage bill less than a quarter of ours, and with a team that cost less than Ozil.
Yet the Wenger disciples are still going to preach Wenger's 'limited resources' lie. And its not just Leicester, but Tottenham also have inferior resources with a wage bill of 110m.
Our wage bill is 190m, City's is 192m, Man United 202m and Chelsea 215m. We are 26m in wages away from being the highest spenders in the league, whilst Tottenhams wage deficit to ours is 80m, and Leicester City is around 130m.
The 'limited resources' talking point is just a blatant lie. It should not be allowed to be repeated by anyone in the media. You cant betray truth and reality with such disregard. Those who keep repeating the falsehood, are either ignorant, or blatant liars.
