It tediously plodded along for an hour and a half as the "romance" grew (although, there was little emotion... how could there be when neither character showed any charisma, nor smiled, laughed or spoke in anything other than monotone?! ) and then towards the end they threw in a random couple of bad guys (with pretty much no character development, so you had zero interest in them whatsoever) and then the movie ended in exactly the way you'd expect.
and to think they're making 2 sequels already
ive actually read all the books, they are better than the 1st film would suggest. however i think that the 2nd and 3rd films will be very good
