1. Imo song was pure shite (sorry rebs). His tackling is still shit, his passing was embarrassing and he was destroyed in the air time and time again (not least for their goal).

2. Squillachi is not good enough. He is hesitant, nowhere near dominant in the air and is as slow as a cart horse

3. We made the last 15-20mins far harder than it should have been. We were in total control and looked threatening every time we attacked but of course we decided to be smartarses and do keep ball instead as we played sidewards and backwards followed swiftly by handing possession back to them via bad passing  :banghead: Sometimes these cocks get above themselves :x

5. Substitutions were woeful. Tbf I thought denilson did very well but I also thought taking off arshavin was a bad move but the eboue for chamakh decision was absolutely ridiculous and baffling :? We basically decided to bring in the cheating c**t and surrender possession for them to launch balls into our area
Other then that, good game eh?

SHOCKING decision to take Chamakh off with 2 minutes left though - and for Eboue???? :? - how the fuck does that help?? Eboue's passing is erratic at the best of times, but coming into a fast paced game with no time to adjust was asking a lot, and Nasri isn't a target man... he isn't going to win a header against the defence, and Chamakh's aerial ability was useful when defending corners, too!

Odd, I thought - and put more pressure on us, with any punt forward bound to come straight back at us.

Still, we won - and deservedly so. Get in!!!! :barscarf:
Odd, but hardly surprising. It was the classic Wenger “how ze furck do I protect a lead?â€

We did play well and as I said it was a great win especially when those theiving scouse *word censored* tried to bully the ref into giving them decisions  However we dont half make things harder than they need to be at times though

No grumbles from me for once as it's good to see us grind out wins when not at our best. Sometimes the manager and the team deserve criticism, today isn't one of them.

Hmmm.... couldn't disagree more.

I thought Arshavin wanted to come off. He looked like he'd run out of energy, and wasn't keeping up with play.

Taking him off was, in my opinion, the only option - personally, I thought replacing him with Theo's pace would have helped at that point, but Rosicky does work very hard.

Even a blind man could see that we needed an outlet rather than Eboue on for Chamakh at the end. Shocking substitution. Song is desperate for another red card. Silly foul after silly foul etc
Great 4 days, 6 points at 2 difficult away grounds but this club will give me a heart attack one day and I promise I will sue their arses off!!!

not that i'm complaining about the win, but it makes the losses to wba and newcastle even more annoying!

Agreed with g88ner, basically nothing for the second half from Arshavin. He didn't do much defensive work anyway, why he used up his energy that quick

Agree with that. I’ve always found augie’s unconditional defence of Arshavin almost SteveO35/Diaby-esque in it’s tenderness.

Samir Nasri :bowing21: (not for the 1st time this season)

Great performance all round. A few hiccups along the way but nothing's perfect.

Brilliant result and I'm f*cking delighted :barscarf:

Come on the mackems!
