it could be worse! denilson could be starting

have you seen rosicky play

Seriously its a good decision imo, we're gonna spend probably 60-65% of the time without the ball and so Arshavin would really be a liability. As long as Rosickys not in middle. :?

It will be obvious that RVP starts (well should be), you would never ever put a guy with a suspect injury on as a sub, reasoning is that if you start him and his injury recurs then he can be subbed pretty early on, if on the other hand you bring him on later in the game and then his injury recurs you are forced to sub a sub, giving you very few options later in the game.

Well that should be the reasoning.

Rosicky is obviously playing because Arshavin provides zero coverage for Clichy.

Rosciky is good at tracking back, will aid Clichy. This is something AA will not do and is better coming on.
That said, they both lose the ball alot so whats the difference? :?

 fair play but who else do we have? rosicky will hopefully put a good shift in and not give the ball away too often and arshavin can come off the bench. best option for us as far as i can see. we may get throttled 4-nil either way so let's just hope cesc and jack carry us

I think Arshavin has been tracking back a lot more recently since he got his arse back into gear tbh.
