Goetze saga

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

He made one brilliant run and had a bullet like shot that cannoned off the bar 8) Totally agree that he injected some much needed energy and directness into their game when he was brought on

If we gonna buy another German player, I would rather buy Phillip Lahm..he can cover both fullback positions and always look dangerous on the pitch.

I must admit, the little I've seen of Goetze he has impressed me though.

if we're supposed to sign fucking good and underrated (and old as fuck) fullbacks, i'd go for dario srna

Nice guess, but you were only 972 years off

He is 28, so we could get at least 4 years out of him. I personally prefer my defenders to be a bit more experienced.

8)

It doesn't matter what font size you put in.....some people on here still believe Wenger will spend over €20m on a single player.

When you look at it like that, it's simply hilarious

Plus in a squad that will hopefully have a fit and firing Wilshere, Diaby plus Rosicky, Arshavin, Ramsey, Arteta etc what we are crying out for is another attacking midfielder

Where as keepers and central strikers....well the options are endless

Well, perhaps we could offload one or 2 useless *word censored* in part exchange for Goetze?

Guess who I'm thinking of...
