pre season games match thread.

As we're unlikely to see terraces again at football, this is the virtual equivalent where you can chat to your hearts content about all football matters and, obviously, Arsenal in particular. This forum encourages all Gooners to visit and contribute so please keep it respectful, clean and topical.

That together with the Liebherr Cup should surely be enough to entice RVP into staying. :barscarf:

Am I right in saying that Cologne is the only pre-season game left? If so that seems absolutely ridiculous that the likes of Giroud and Podolski will probably be given half a game each to try and bed into the new team ahead of the season. Given our slow starts the last two seasons where we've lost two games before the first international break it just looks like a joke.

Also, Djourou captain today. Fucking pisstake. I'm too angry to even joke about giving him the captaincy as a last resort to get rid of him, he is useless.

When a man is feeling a bit pissed off and having a shit day, there is nothing better to help cheer me up than logging on here and reading some of the stuff being posted

Seen most of the first half which confirmed for me what i already knew........diaby is a plank, we have no proper left full, no proper DM, chamakh aint good enough and feo is just a pr generated football - think boyband except with a pair of boots on and that bow after scoring was so fcuking crass/corny

Yup! absolutely bang smack on the nail there mate

as for 'that bow' - what an ignorant *word censored* he is....anyone with half a brain cell would know that the (gesture) of an open palm with the fist in it - is showing your opponent/enemy you have no weapons - in readiness for fight/contest/battle...and then it is only a slight incline of the head...

The correct gesture - if any - should have been deep bow (showing the nape of the neck) with both palms pressed together - this is both servitudinal and offering 'Thanks'...

Oh! well at least he can run fast! - probably his best means of defence.

There's gonna be a behind closed door game arranged but yeah, this pre season has been a complete waste of time.

There is no reason why any of the players at the Euros should not have been on the tour, they had an extra weeks holiday and won't be short on fitness as they trained all summer.

This pre season has been a complete waste of time.

Who needs team cohesion when you can send a bunch of your players to do a dance workout in West Africa?! :banghead:
